I would like to ask for one thing. Just one. Please do not judge Hungarian people by the actions of the government. We still need to survive two more years with the current one, and it’s actually harder than it seems.

Whatever they decide it doesn’t reflect the opinion of everybody. For instance, me. I still think, as a straight, (almost) 25 year old woman, that love is love, no matter what, and everybody deserves to be treated equally, also no matter what.

They did this, because of “religious reasons”, but it doesn’t really matter. Well, I’m not really involved in politics, but just for you to understand the voting system, if one party has 2/3 of the votes, they can have 2/3 of the seats in the pairlament, therefore, this party can decide of everything, it doesn’t matter if every other parties say no, they have the enough amount to decide alone, that is why is shit is happening right now, in front of our eyes.

Please, stop shaming us. We are actually nice, we just have a shitty government. Please, understand this.
