I was thinking of a dark story with a happier ending. Sister Julienne is a victim of rape. She tries to carry on as normal. She does not confide in Sister Bernadette until she finds herself pregnant. She is carrying twins so the pregnancy is a difficult one. It would be an interesting story to read because of the complexity of her situation. Her faith. How she would cope with a horrible event like this and reconcile her feelings of anger. Just a thought. Thanks!
