Caption: A KISS BROKE THE SPELL - THE PRINCESS AWAKENED
Booklet Description: SCENE SEVEN When he saw her, so lovely in her sleep, he could not turn away his eyes. Presently he stooped and pressed a kiss upon her still lips. The princess stirred, opened her eyes, and smiled up at the delighted prince. She rose from the couch and they went down into the castle. The king and queen and the whole court awoke and gazed around with wonderment in their eyes. The horses in the yard raised up and shook themselves, the hounds sprang up and wagged their tails, the pigeons drew their heads from under their wings, and flew into the field, the flies on the wall crept on a little farther, the kitchen fire leaped up and blazed and cooked the meat, and the cook gave the kitchen boy such a box on the ear that he roared out, and the maid went on plucking the fowl. The wedding of the Prince and Rosamund was held in all splendor and they lived happily together ever after.

Caption: THUMBELINA FREED BY THE FISHES FLOATS DOWNSTREAM
Booklet Description: SCENE THREE - The little fish which swam about in the water were quite grieved to think that this little girl was to go down to live with the ugly toad. No, that should never happen. They flocked together down in the water about the green stem which held the leaf, and gnawed at it with their teeth till it floated away down the stream carrying Thumbelina away where the toad could not follow her. A pretty little butterfly fluttered round and round her for some time and at last settled on the leaf. She took her sash, and tied one end round the butterfly, and the other she made fast to the leaf which went gliding on quicker and quicker until she landed many miles away from the toad and her ugly son.
