The room is silent when you enter. Your face is covered in tears, your arms and cheek are bruised, and your clothes are a little dirty. Without saying a word, you drop your backpack on the floor, grab your favorite toys, and throw yourself onto the bed with them, hugging them tightly to your chest as you cry until you fall asleep.
Woody
His cowboy heart breaks instantly. As soon as you closes your eyes, he gently shifts inside your embrace and wraps his arms around you as best he can.
He softly strokes your hair with one hand while whispering very quietly,
“Shhh… I’m here, Y/n. No one’s going to hurt you while I’m with you.”
He stays awake all night, watching over you. He’s furious with whoever hurt you, but you are his priority. He tucks you in more tightly, wipes your tears with his handkerchief, and doesn’t leave your side for a second.
In the morning, as you begin to wake up, he pretends to be still, but leaves his hat near your pillow as a silent sign that he was there.
Buzz Lightyear
Space Ranger mode activated. Even though he's "off," inside he's on high alert. When you lie down cuddling him, he waits until you're sound asleep and then wraps you in his strong but soft arms.
He speaks to you in a low, deep voice:
"Comfort mission activated. You're not alone in this galaxy. I'm here, y/n"
He carefully checks your bruises (without waking you) and feels helpless for not being able to protect you from the outside world. He kisses your forehead tenderly and stays cuddling you all night, like a living shield.
The next day he's more protective than ever: he makes sure to be near you whenever you play.
Jessie
She gets so emotional that she almost cries with you (even though she doesn’t have any tears). She hugs you with all her cowgirl strength and pulls you close.
“Come here, sweetheart Nobody messes with my favorite child!” she whispers as she cradles you.
She softly sings rodeo songs to calm you, strokes your hair, and gives you lots of little kisses on the head. She feels very sad and angry at the same time, but her priority is making you feel safe and loved.
She sleeps snuggled up to you all night, not letting go for a second.
Bo Peep
Her maternal and strong side comes out immediately. She hugs you tightly, letting you cry against her dress. She strokes your back in gentle circles.
She whispers in a sweet but firm voice,
“Cry all you need to, dear. I’m here. You don’t have to be strong right now.”
She stays watching over you as you sleep, gently wiping away your tears with her cane or her hand. She feels very protective and a little sad that she can’t go out into the world to “fix” what happened to you.
When you wake up, she leaves one of her sheep or a rope nearby so you know she’s been watching over you.

It’s extremely important to stay hydrated my lovelies!! Not just yourselves, but also your loved ones who can’t take care of themselves!! Pet friends, garden critters and strays, disabled folks, the elderly, lil kids, etc… Make sure they’re all getting enough too!! 💦

I’ve noticed a pattern recently that when I get really upset like I have recently. I mindlessly scratch myself and it’s a very bad habit I have. I’m actively trying to break it because it hurts after a while and I don’t realize it until hours later. someone just yell at me at this point pls
