At first I automatically assumed they were in sickbay, Paul wakes up, escapes the force field, and finds Hugh. However, upon further study, you realize they are in the room where they released the tardigrade from! Notice the weird door and metal rods. How did Paul get Hugh there? Why are they there? So many questions!!

My concern isn't about Culber being dead (Trek has a long and proud history of death fake-outs, time reversal etc etc). My concern is that in the preview for next week's episode, Paul is holding Hugh. My guess is Ash is trying to frame him, he did that so when Hugh's body is found, they'll assume Paul killed him during a violent episode. So who knows when the crew will figure out what really happened.

(I'd assume Tyler used his security clearance to wipe any video footage/logs/evidence of his presence)
