Dreamy little collab that is perfect to get ready for summer.
I've got the fevah!
Gorgeous, natch.
Disclosure feat. AlunaGeorge - “White Noise”
They did it again :)
Love her voice! A bit Lianne La Havas-esque, no?
Working on my "Best of" list for 2012. It was a good year for Little Dragon and this track is definitely on the list. Looking through my chronicles of music, it was overall a dancey year, mellowed out a bit in the Fall, and picked back up the last 2 months. Maybe it's just a mirror of my life. If so, it was a pretty good year.

Neonfaith - Tied Together
New discovery gifted to me in my inbox. Loving this track, can't wait to hear more.

Romeo Beckham for Burberry. Fortunately, little Romeo takes after his father, flashing a mega-watt smile. He steals the show (and my heart) in this short ad for Burberry's Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Happy 100th, Ray Eames. Today we present photos made in 1950 by LIFE’s Peter Stackpole at the now-legendary Eames House. The article that ran focused largely on her husband, Charles Eames. As LIFE told its readers in the September 1950 issue, in which some of these pictures first ran:
Charles Eames, whose stark, comfortable chairs in the last five years have made him the best-known U.S. designer of modern furniture and a winner in the Museum of Modern Art furniture competition, recently designed a house and adjoining studio for himself near Santa Monica, Calif. As might be expected of a man whose chief concerns are simplicity, functionalism and economy, Eames’s own house is simply built of steel trusses, bright stucco panels and treat curtained expanses of glass. It is extraordinarily functional, built for a couple that likes to live without servants or cocktail parties and work surrounded by the varied objects that interest them. And when work or contemplation pall, the Eameses have the ocean just across the meadow from their home.

LV Spring '13 Campaign
Loving the print campaign for Louis Vuitton's Spring '13 collection. Mark Jacobs made a pretty bold move with this very geometric print. I know my curves might not pull it off so easily in bold colors. I do love the tan on white shown in the ad however. Perfect complement to my red hair. And speaking of hair, love how it is styled here. Oh! And the shoes.... love!

A lone piano stands curbside in New York City, and a short documentary chronicles the interactions of passers-by as the piano awaits its fate.
The Knife release new album announcement/tease in 43 second obscure video.
Here is all they had to say about it:
Music can be so meaningless. We had to find lust. We asked our friends and lovers to help us.
Go ahead and file this under "best news of the day."

New Music: Mystikal “Hit Me”
A friend sent this my way this morning. If you ever wanted to know what James Brown would sound like rapping, this is the track. While I can't really crank it up in the office, it definitely has some complexity that makes it interesting. I particularly love the bass line.

Big Boi brought out A$AP Rocky and Phantogram to perform "Lines" at his album release show last night at SOB's in Manhattan.
Pretty excited about diving into this album today. Already loving the Phantogram collabs, as well as Little Dragon and Jai Paul.
Also re-released today was Smashing Pumpkin's Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, but I'm saving that for a day of nostalgia.
