In dreamscapes grand beneath a tree A wolf once approached and told me "Treasures lie beyond certainty!" To hear her song was all to see

And rose so high The tree did grow Beyond the sky What did we know?

Before the dawns she did with me meet to discuss the plans we had left obscure Through twilit voice and eyes shone bright came expressions in mind of a perfect beast This wolf’s endless liturgy of Anu’s arts refined in mind to make me sure An archangel she proved and an advent of artists divine, to say the least

She spoke with effervescence and audacity for the pictures she did paint And taught me the methods by which she shed her shackles of painterly constraint We whispered secrets and loosed the laughs to ensure my ties would wholly sever And in the light was shared a prospect; we only wanted to live forever

I did once trust the mind of madness consorting as a sheepskin wolf’s snake tongue Which called the crows to compel the jackal to join artistic acquisition And the jackal’s brush of prey painted a fresco that spoke as wolf’s sight had sung From which the scavenged did paint the tree of life’s gruesomely hollow rendition
