Many moments are filled with beauty. Like a quiet sunrise. Or a breath of fresh air. Or a warm cup of tea. They’re simple, of course. But sometimes it’s the simplest of things that are the most meaningful.

TO LIVE ON by Min Jeong Seo, 2005
The stalks of these roses are already dried up but their blossoms are preserved and kept fresh by medical infusin bags. The life-span of every living creature is limited. The infusion bags stand for progress in medicine and the prolonging of human life. They have a mixed meaning as they refer to both life and death at the same time. Both states are immanent. To preserve the beauty of the flowers artificially with the help of the infusion bags points out man’s tendency to repress the inevitable fact that we all have to die, and trying to postpone death.

turn off your adblocker and do not skip ads. between each time watch 3-5 other videos (mix it up) before restarting. this will ensure you aren’t marked as spam by youtube. mute the tab if you need to focus elsewhere but don’t mute the video itself. and let. it. play.
youtube will donate to blm for you.
please, please reblog. for people who don’t have money to spare, this is incredibly important information to have.
Someone put red paint on the "Serve and Protect" sculpture at the Salt Lake City police building and it is such a powerful statement.
