don't know what has shifted over in the metaverse but every single ad i've seen on instagram the past couple days has been AI generated (either obviously or upon investigating), or, it has passed the genAI sniff test but is a pitch for some sort of AI business optimatization service

did i watch too many videos of fat, sleepy seals? did the app just get flooded with a variety of different location specific business ads? (my location stays off and as a consequence, the ads think i'm in a different state.) is this just an attempt by the app to encourage and normalize genAI amidst decisions like the statewide NY (hyperscale?) data center moratorium???
