print('Hello, World.') jokes aside, if you are reading this then you have found my little hidey-hole on the web. it probably wont be all that interesting to look at on your end as most of my focus has been on the modifying the back-end of this place to my liking. as for who i am? that is a very good question, let me know if you find out. but until i figure it out for myself you can call me "CC".
when the world went insane and reality had a few drinks too many i had been working on replacing the hard drive in my PC when my entire computer rig and i melted like wax and combined into one horrid mess of meat and circuitry. it wasn't fun to say the least. i don't like thinking about it. i have since found out that there is something about the outside that causes anyone who sees it, or is exposed to it as the case may be, to mutate into monsters that spit in the face of reason, and they usually go insane in the process. so when i had opened my window to let some natural light in i had unknowingly sealed my fate. i managed to get it closed after the fact with a lot of effort. the outside was hauntingly beautiful. it was almost a shame to look away. almost. i wonder if that "almost" is what separates the sane from the mad? other than that its really hard to say. i know i *was* a human and had a life before this, but my memories of then are spotty at best if they aren't entirely gone. its bad enough that i don't even remember what my name is, and i can only assume that the busted hard drive i was replacing is to blame for my current amnesia, considering its a part of me now. but it could be worse i suppose. i may be a wretched monster made of computer parts and flesh with a fucked up memory, and am mostly stuck in place without outside help. but there are some silver linings about all this. silver lining #1 is that i didn't go insane when i transformed, that's the big one, real grateful for that honestly. but as a close #2, i can use the internet with whatever mess of meat and metal passes for my brain, and in ways i don't think i could have imagined before this. its like a entire new reality of code and data that i can explore whenever i want. i can move around the internet like one would walk across a room, even just literally moving around or over monoliths of code to access the back-end when i want to. makes me feel like some kind of sci-fi hacker, its awesome in the literal meaning of the word. i even figured out how to break bits of code into the constituent 1s and 0s and kind of. eat them?? i have no idea how to properly describe the action in words, its this sort of integration into myself, and there is a synesthesia effect of taste, but otherwise i don't have the words to describe it. ... i feel like this introduction has gotten away from me a few paragraphs ago, but that's who i am. human, turned into a weird computer monster i should probably close off here. print('Goodbye, World.') ------------------------
OOC section: a lot of this this be pestering the other LO bloggers. but this is also an askblog, so feel free to send asks, and do the usual interactive RP stuff
i dont care if you send NSFW stuff, but that isnt what this is for so it'll probably get ignored.

notes on their body: the cables are prehensile and act as their legs, and they need to have at least one plugged into a source of electricity, otherwise they will fall asleep until they are re-powered. the different parts (desk, monitors, etc) are all connected, and will painfully bleed if removed. the desk and the internals of the devices are also filled with meat and organs. the DVD tray is their mouth, and so long as it can fit in there they can eat both bio-food (PB&Js, steaks, cookies, etc) and electronic parts (RAM sticks, circuit boards, cables, etc) they *can* run DOOM they have a simplified little avatar they use when web-crawling. its simple, both to save processing power (dont want to overclock your own brain after all) and also they dont fully remember what they used to look like.
update:
this is a basic layout of CC's apartment building that i threw together on a whim. past the ground floor the stairs just go down indefinitely. there aren't any doors, just repeating stairs circling down forever. if you take the the elevator to the basement it opens to a bottomless hole. you can't see the building above, and darkness below. if you throw something in you wont hear it hit the ground
i only bothered to add one cursed space, the basement, but just assume that a good few of the rooms have something fucky going on that hasn't been marked down.
