PRO PANDA CATCHER . . . probably :
❝…a panda…?❞ He repeats after the youth, confusion is clear in his tone, but he would hear him out, at least for now. Although he was often questionable, Yori wasn’t unnecessarily belligerent without a proper cause, so that was the very least he could do.
❝How could you lose a panda?❞ Yori asks, concerned, but above all, he was slightly amused, expressing that much with a subtle laugh, but he doesn’t intend to mock the boy for long. The male takes a step forward, sliding out of his room and gently shutting the door behind him as he did. ❝No, I’m afraid I haven’t seen your panda anywhere.❞ He says, arms folding across his chest.
❝Do you expect me to help you find it, or would that be all?❞
“well, it’s not that i lost him or anythin’. i just figured he probably died too and is roaming around somewhere wreakin’ havoc.” it felt a bit strange saying those words. ranma never even thought about being with his father after death, much less think about “life after death” itself or whether it even existed. it felt even stranger still that it sounded like ranma was looking for his PET panda rather than looking for his father. oh well, it wasn’t like he needed to explain everything. this would work, too. maybe.
“i dunno. do you wanna? i just had this weird feelin’ that you’d be the person for the job.” what he really meant was the strange pull he felt that led him to this stranger’s door...just put another way.
