RAIN vs. SUMMER HEATWAVE

I'm aliveeee!!

Since Europe is absolutely suffering right now, it made me think how badly the water ghouls in the ministry would suffer during the summer overall. I bet most of them would to retreat to the bottom of the lake until it’s cooler in the evening. HOWEVER, I bet the fire ghouls are absolutely thriving.

I'm sure Dew doesn't miss summers as a water ghoul LMAO

Ghost Band Head Canon!!!

So my Head Canon is that after every Era the ghouls/ghoulettes have to kill and eat the Papa that was leading that Era as a price for summoning them. But whoever decides not to, they get sent back to the Pit. Dew/Sodo was able to do it and thats why he was the only one that stayed while everyone else got replaced. And again with Terzo, Sodo was the only one able to choke down his flesh since he had been through it already. Cumulus couldn't stomach doing it and had an outburst because she was close with Copia and got sent back to the pit, hence why she isn't here anymore. Swiss said he'd be able to, but when the time came he couldn't follow his word and got sent back. (Hence why he was there at first for the tours then disappeared.)

Adding onto this, since Sodo had been through it before he made a decision to tell Mountain and Cirrus about it. Mountain knew Lus wouldn't be able to do it, but could stomach doing it himself. Cirrus refused to do it, but not because she couldn't stomach doing it, but because she couldn't imagine a life without Lus now that she saw what life was like with her. But when Cirrus told Lus that she wouldn't do it, Lus begged her to do it because she didn't want Cirrus to end up back in the pit now that she's finally out. So Cirrus eats Copia while sobbing the whole time as she watches Lus get sent back to the pit.

Extra head canon: Sodo is so hurt by Swiss and Lus being gone that he pushes Haze and Storm away and they can't figure out what they did wrong. You'd think Phantom would show Haze and Storm photo albums because he went through the same thing when he "replaced" Aether but instead he let's it happen and let's them be treated like that because he's so scared of being rejected by Sodo again after how close they've gotten and it eats at Phantom when he's trying to sleep at night.
