I was an unhealed child on this site, engaging in wild west type shit ( we all were ). now? I'm an adult nonbinary person who ignores it.

I do not tolerate salt blogging, vagueposting, dni's, passwords required, etc. drama is a nonstarter, & will not be replied to. I have "beef" with no one. y'all don't matter to me anymore.

name: idalina annala-kosterick aka "sleepwalker" or "maelstrom" age: 25-4000+ species: faerie description: long, curly black hair. her skin is pale, lips plump and soft. lashes long, and painted with black mascara. hair tied back in twin braids reaching her hips. she is curvy-bodied height / weight / body type: roughly 5 foot 7 inches / around 170 lbs / curvy fashion: when not working, she is usually dressed in sweetheart neckline tops, pink arm warmers. she has a plaid mini skirt with a black set of ruffles beneath it. knee-high socks, doc martin mary janes. she has chains on her skirt, safety pins in the beanie she wears, and rips on her socks. she is dressed in pink and black hues.

when working, Ida wears all black. ripped jeans, leather jacket. she carries poison in her choker & holy water in her pocket. she keeps her hair down, usually in braids if anything. she wears a utility belt, armed to the teeth but kept inconspicuous. she wears black doc martins. she drives a hearse.

makeup: sultry pink cat-eye with winged graphic liner hearts in the corners of her eyes. pinkness to deeper violet tones decorate her lips.

personality: soft-hearted, soft-spoken. low south georgian drawl. she is sultry, she is pure - she can purify demons and tame hell hounds. she is quiet, but steadfast in her beliefs.

"girl," Ida took a deep breath. she looks at Des calmly. "yes, you do. your type believes the clitoris is far off island off in the coast, not a vital part of a woman."

A click echoed through the space, the sharp sound of Scott's tongue against the roof of his mouth as he watched the socket roll. The floor was too well made, too perfectly poured, allowing the socket to go and go and go, right out the garage door.

This was Scott's fault. He should have paid better attention, he should have changed the angle of his body, if only he had bent his wrist to that extra degree, he wouldn't have lost it. There was nothing to be done about it now but retrieve it. It wasn't difficult. It wasn't hard.

Just disappointing.

Taking in a breath that was a little heavier than normal but not quite the full depth of a sigh, Scott rolled himself out from beneath the car, brushing his hands off on his jeans as he stood.

The girl was new, but not unfamiliar. Scott had seen her around the grounds, but they’d yet to be introduced.

“Yeah,” Scott said with a nod, opening his hand to take the socket back. He nodded again at her teasing, even though it wasn’t the cost of the item that bothered him, more his failure to execute the job without error.

He ignored the lingering brush of her fingers, he wasn’t immune, just oblivious, mind wrapped up in what he’d been in the middle of doing.

But that was rude, and he had a role here, there, at Xavier’s mansion. It was his job to be the leader of the team, to guide their students, to guide this young woman.

“I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced yet,” Scott said, clicking the socket back onto the wrench before thrusting it in his pocket and extending his hand. “Scott Summers.” He didn’t often need to introduce himself. People knew who he was, especially people who wound up at the school. But there was the possibility she didn’t know him at all.

"Idalina," she greeted, smiling as she shakes his hand. she was kind, comforting almost. Ida had lead many missions on her own ( from before; before the academy, before the group found her ).

she had died that day, her mother's body pressed against her cooling skin. Ida remembered screaming, holding the body close to her. it took until she dropped from exhaustion to give up her mother's corpse.

the body was quietly taken away, tended to elsewhere, and Ida was devastated. she's tried searching the grounds for the grave marker. 

"I, uh, got my mama's last name. Annala-Kosterick. um, yer Scott ..... Summers?"

she asked, eyes flickering from the car to him. she'd wanted to learn how to tend to cars. maybe this could be an avenue for her.

"I just know, uh, motor bikes. my mom was a biker in a woman gang,"

she explained, dropping lore so casually like he ought to know already.

"they'd fight abusive men 'n slay rapists. she was real possionate about that."

or, rather, that he'd not question it. whether he deserved to know.

where she was discovered, the kingdom had been destroyed. she had lost everything -- and the people who worshiped her, too. 

it took a moment for her to realize she had been staring into space, head dropping, eyes falling to her ringed hands. she was rambling. he probably didn't care. who would care? she's a stranger amongst the strange.

nettle ( ooc ). I think this works! I'm placing it that Ida and Eda were regaled as royalty for their mutant powers in a small, rural village in the mountains. they were seen as gods, able to provide for the families. hope this isn't too out of storyline!

nobody was around, so she had the chance. her eyes were locked onto herself, mirrored image murmuring back. she bit the inside of her cheeks, sucking in her breath.

& she lets go.

the tears begin to fall, rolling down her cheeks. ragged breaths, panic spreading inwards. she stays like this for a few moments, affording herself a chance to grieve. however...

she needed to stay strong.

she slaps herself suddenly, inhaling sharply.

the mission was more important.

turning around, she wipes away her tears and flushes the toilet. hoping she wouldn't be greeted at the restrooms exit...

"-- oh shit! sorry, excuse me." Ida gasped when she's confronted suddenly. her eyes stay trained on their face. she swallows as they eye her. her eyes were a little red.

her eyes are somber, gaze cast downward. at the sound of approaching footsteps, the woman's shoulders stiffen.

she had just killed a butterfly - an alien creature that entered a person's brain, taking over their body and erasing that person's original self. they are stronger, faster, and more ferocious than that of a normal person.

and the person? pleaded. but they were a butterfly... right? the creature tried to escape their fate, but she was able to shoot it before it flew off.

shaken, Ida glances back at Atieno.

"when murder stops meanin' anythin' to 'im. when they ain't affected by death, by bein' the judge 'n jury 'n executioner of another person or animal. fuck. just... what the FUCK."

she didn't know what butterflies were per se, but she's killed many of them. and all of them had these strange, delicate-looking monsters crawling out of the cranial cavity.

she swallows, hard, her mouth was too dry. she was scared - how many of these creatures are out there? do they affect faeries? what about other creatures?

"'m fine, Ati. mom's been askin' about ya, by the way. she says you'll teach me a lot. 'n that I oughta trust you."
