So lately life has been for lack of words life-ing. I’ve made deadlines. I’ve talked to friends. I’ve been creative- ish.

But it’s all been buried under a fog of despair and life sucking energy.

I’ve been absent from social media because it felt too hard to click more than the “like” button.

But I woke up this morning and genuinely feel happy. I’ve honestly forgot what this felt like.

And while healing isn’t linear and tomorrow isn’t promised I’m riding the wave of good feelings today

fighting your brain is exhausting. like you’re doing the work, you’re trying, you’re showing up for yourself every single day, and the trying itself takes everything you have and there’s nothing left over and you still have to get up tomorrow and do it again.

and sometimes you don’t have access to the professional help you know you need yet so you’re just. out here. doing your best with what you’ve got. which is fine. it’s fine. you keep going because giving up doesn’t actually fix anything it just means you’re losing and also still tired so what’s even the point of that.
