Allicent almost killed rhaenyra when Luke took aemond's eye. And now her grandson from favourite daughter is dead and they are sneaking into each other's chambers amidst war to make peace with the power of friendship. And S2 Allicent putting her son's life in danger and trying to dethrone him like she didn't put the idea of having the throne in his mind saying his life is endangered? Make it make sense!! Where is the bitch queen from S1 who made a woman climb up to her chambers after childbirth so she could pass snarky remarks on her husband. She, who told Viseryes, the king he could do as he wished when she was cold in her grave 😭. Forget the book Allicent, S1 allicent would have hated this season. Where is politics and badassery in this season? The actors are so talented, the cinematography, colour theme, costumes are so beautiful and then this batshit crazy pacing and dialogues. The plot doesn't even make sense anymore.
'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare. Act 4, Scene 7, by Queen Gertrude.
As one incapable of her own distress,
Or like a creature native and endued unto
that element. But long it could not be
Till that her garments, heavy with their drink,
Pulled the poor wretch from her melodious lay
To muddy death.
