Of course Kyo had to continue making a skeptical of himself. Yuki felt the eyes of a tenant glance at the pair. He sighed, a slight whistle escaping his nose. It wasn’t worth it to show his annoyance. Still, he couldn’t help but berate the other because of the unnecessary attention. “Stupid. Cat.” He emphasized each of the words, his eyes narrowing as he spoke.
It really was a surprise to see Kyo here of all places, if he was going to be honest. He thought that when he had arrived in this strange world away from Akito and the other Sohmas that he wouldn’t see another Sohma again–that constant reminder of his past. He had to wonder why Kyo was brought here.
Why now?
Yuki crossed his arms over his chest, leaning back onto his left foot. Since coming to this island, he has heard many of the legends and different lore. This world was huge on destiny. “Guess fate doesn’t like it when we’re apart.” He shrugged his shoulders, eyes glazing over towards Kyo. “You can go ahead and try. But you know how it ends when you try to fight me.”
“So try your best.”
"You'd think that by now you'd have come up with a better insult!" He said, loudly as he stepped closer, "all you ever say is ‘stupid cat, stupid cat,'" he taunted as he shifted closer, grabbing at the others shirt, pulling at it. Regardless of how often the other said the words, they never failed to rile him up, something that only pissed him off all the more. One day he'd learn not to pay attention to the repeated words, but today he'd kick the rats ass, finally. How the rat had gotten here he didn't know and later he'd be wondering how the rat had found himself on the island, especially when he'd thought he'd finally been done with the Sohma curse and all it represented, kind of. Had he met the island's goddess, like he had?
"Yeah, well fate can shove it!" He said, releasing his grip on the others shirt as he shoved him back, away from himself. "I'd rather be alone than stuck here with you!" He continued as he took a fighting stance, prepping himself for the fight, only growing angrier as Yuki remained calm. He'd get a reaction out of the damned rat, if was the last thing he did.
