"Little Shop of Survival"

I LOVE Little Shop of Horrors, it's legitimately one of my favorite musicals of all time; it's so peak, Trust. I adore both the movie and the play as I find both have amazing aspects, despite the movie ending wildly different.

anyways, when i watched g1 and saw season 2: episode 29.... i was immediately reminded of it, so i had to draw it (months later)

wada sez: So this is neat! South America famously received a bunch of weird exclusive Transformers figures in funky colors, when the molds were licensed out to Estrela in Brazil and Antex in Argentina. As the creative team for this strip come from Uruguay, they’re clearly drawing from this unique heritage. The strip stars the “Radio AM Robot” produced by Comando Toys—a strange amalgam of various Transformers designs—facing off against presumably Robot-Man X and Robot-Man Z, who wear Generation 2 Decepticon insignias in reference to Antex’s later releases of those toys. Amazingly, the strip’s title and premise are directly based on TFWiki’s brief description of the character, which reads: “The Radio AM Robot may look like a cross between Megatron and Soundwave, but he’s probably the only Transformer who can pick up the farm report - in Spanish!” A translation of the radio broadcast might read something like: “…other news reports on attacks at power plants for what appear to be… giant robots…” Italian translation below.
