Can we just… sit and take a moment to talk about and appreciate Uchiha Sasuke, please?
Uchiha Sasuke, this guy who as a kid put so much effort in all he was doing because what he wanted most was to be recognized by his father, who trained harder every day to be better. This little kid that loved his brother so much and wanted him to play and pay attention to him. Who liked his mother’s food so much that he asked to be served twice.
This kid whose own beloved brother took away everyone he cared about, every person who was important to him in one night, and made him see it with his own eyes as a 7 years old little boy.
This child who grew up alone, all by himself in his dead parents’ house. Who loved his family more than anything, who loved his clan, his bonds. This boy who loved in such a pure and intense way that it broke him. This boy who grew up wondering, torturing himself with the question “why? why? Why me? Why him?”, who loved with so much rage that having all taken away from him made him feel lost and in hell. Who choose loneliness because he didn’t want to feel that lost again.
Uchiha Sasuke is just a boy who once loved and then lost all of that. And even so, he didn’t give up to the world, he stood up with his own feet and he grew better and stronger, it didn’t matter if he did it alone.
Uchiha Sasuke was this boy who claimed to be the loner, this boy who poisoned his soul with hate and seek for revenge for something that chase after him through all his youth years.
Uchiha Sasuke HAS flaws. He is not perfect, just like no one really is. Sasuke is broken and behaves emo-ish and self-destructive sometimes. But that’s okay. It’s okay to have flaws. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad person, a bad character. He’s STILL this beautiful guy (and I don’t mean it outside, though I know he’s pretty stunning and gorgeous and freaking pretty, I mean in it like he’s so beautiful inside), who once time ago, when was a 11 years old little boy sacrificed his own life, his own goals (even if he didn’t die, thanks God) to save another’s boy life without even thinking about it. This guy who wanted to feed a poor hungry boy even if that was against the rules and it would cost him his life ambition. Who saved his teammates’ lives not once, not twice, but many times. Who taught what was to loving someone to another boy who was hated all his life because of a condition he didn’t ask for, a condition he didn’t even know he had for years. Who was willing to fight a jinchuriki in its tail beast-form, even though he was injured, so he could win some time for his teammates to escape out of danger. Who acknowledged Naruto’s more than anyone else when he starved for it. Who began to see his own family in Team 7. Who started to create bonds with them even when he didn’t want to. This boy who cared about if Naruto’s was having breakfast or was lying dead somewhere. Who felt in pain when Naruto was hurt. This boy who then ran away of the village and left all behind to gain power and be able to accomplish his goal but then far away got attached to another team, to another people. This boy who still cared about Naruto all this years of distance, who still cared about his bonds even if he didn’t want to admit it.
This boy who cared and loved selflessly.
He’s not only a blind-of-revenge guy who once thought of destroying the village for something they ACTUALLY were responsible of. He’s also a pretty guy who likes and feeds cats. He’s smart and strong and determinate and analytical. He’s vulnerable at his feelings, yes, he’s too emotional, yes, and maybe he’s irascible, yes. Maybe he didn’t make the right decisions ALL the time. Maybe. But that’s NOT all of him.
He has playful side, a competitive side. He cries when he feels lost and broken so much inside (like when he lost Itachi), he blushes when he feels embarrassed. He’s still this beautiful man who grew up and got development as a character. He’s stubborn and ambitious and that’s not bad at all. He is firm at his ideals and has this intense and strong personality. He is fragile deep inside, even if he has a God’s power after the hard training. He’s this guy who wanted to cut and break his bonds and make no friends and stay all alone, because he thought it would avoid him the vulnerability of losing all again, because he thought it would help him to reach his goals and gain power, but even so, even so, he has this kind heart that get attached to people even if he doesn’t want to. He’s selfless. He’s perceptive. He’s kind to his very soul.
He cares about the shit in the world. He didn’t care if he had to carry all the world’s hate in him all alone.
He loves with so much passion and selflessly.
So yeah, Sasuke isn’t perfect, he isn’t, but that doesn’t quit he’s such a good character and he deserves love and fucking happiness.
