this whole year has been pretty rough and ragged for me and june hasn't really been any different whezse so i'm a little late to the icon party for the event at Primeval Age for this month

realised as i was working on this that i've never actually coloured a real rainbow whezse,, i've done rainbow iridescence, pearlescence, oil spill sheen, opalescence, all kinds of shinies but never just a normal, regular rainbow in the sky [at least, not outside of being like] [5 years old with a crayon or marker rainbow] really fun, would recommend!

beyond that it was really nice to just be able to do something small, fast, and something for myself. been slacking in the personal art department recently but will get there again whezse the background itself was a fun paint, i've been enjoying working on these sort of grey, darker beach bgs since the previous group event and trying to do something more than just "classic sunny perfect beach"

She's a changeling, a species that replaces newborns of other animals and grows up to be virtually identical. When they attempt to reproduce with another of their species, they end up laying clutches of the "real" changeling, which reproduce with eachother to go on and lay eggs on newborns and repeat the cycle.

Changelings really are identical to their donor species, right down to intelligence. The majority of changelings occur to social animals like deer, flocking birds, rabbits, wolves etc. They are functionally that animal, aside from the fact they can't reproduce like one. A changeling deer will act exactly like a deer, and generally see itself as one. This whole "is as intelligent" thing only hits a snag whenever a changeling dragon happens. They really are a dragon, but aware of the fact they're not at the same time. Changeling dragons are pretty rare for a lot of reasons, and those that do exist usually have a pretty complicated relationship with their own identity. Lesthe is no exception in this regard.

Harsh Welcome Few are lucky enough to hatch within this closed biome. However, self-sustaining food is plentiful, as are the small inhabitants trying to survive.

Trade with 2 users of our dinosaurs meeting for the first time, and wow, what an impression. Every now and then I do something a little more crude than usual. I also wanted to try drawing my Oviraptor, the white one, as an ugly baby bird just for laughs.

Hey everyone! I'm currently on hiatus, but I couldn't resist spreading some love to the Anteosaurus! This is a drawing from 2022. I have to admit, drawing its pose was difficult, but I still feel like I managed it… sort of. It still looks kind of weird, lol, but the reason I'm here is because of this criminally underrated video so I wanted to share it.

It has very few views and honestly seeing one of these Permian dwellers is quite rare on video, let alone in a small sculpture project so give it some love! ✧

last event prompt! ran out of steam after i got most of the prompts done at the beginning of the event and finally getting around to finishing the lucky 7 prompt after i got hit with some Inspiration on how to incorporate the number 7 in the image that wasn't just 7 dinos

,,, and then i ended up drawing 7 dinos anyway 😂

worth it though, the shipyard bask has been around for Ages and given that i've spread the love amongst other beachy packs i'm a part of, i figured it would be a great way to round off the event to draw some art of some of the shipyard fam enjoying each other's company as they went for a stroll
