The most dangerous threat to democracy may not arrive with tanks in the streets. It may arrive looking perfectly legal...perfectly ordinary.

This is the pinnacle of Maga hypocrisy:
This Congresswoman helped ban abortions.
Then she got one.
Then she blamed Democrats for the struggle of getting one.
Then she asked the news not to air her interview.
Oh, bullshit.
If the earth was flat, cats would have pushed everything off of it by now.
HUNDREDS OF REASONS NOT TO BE RELIGIOUS!
our last line of defense:
the judiciary
if we cannot salvage what is left of the supreme court, we are ALL screwed

A federal judge on Wednesday permanently barred President Donald Trumpâs administration from implementing most of his first executive order on elections, part of which sought to require people to show documentary proof of citizenship when they register to vote.
The ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Denise Casper in Boston effectively converts a preliminary injunction she issued a year ago, in which she temporarily blocked many of Trumpâs efforts to overhaul elections, into a permanent ban.
Casper rejected the Republican administrationâs argument that the lawsuit to block the changes brought by Democratic state attorneys general was premature because the rules had yet to be put in place. Instead, she agreed that the Constitution gives states and Congress the authority to regulate elections, and that Trumpâs requirements violated the separation of powers.
The Constitution âdoes not grant the President any specific powers over elections,â wrote Casper.
Among other proposed changes, Trumpâs order would have required people to provide documentary proof of citizenship when registering to vote, prevented mail ballots from being counted if they arrive after Election Day, even if they were postmarked by then, and punished states that failed to comply by withholding certain federal money.
This ferrofluid audio-visualizer created by artist Dakd Jung dances to the music.
One small positive is that it has become easier to know who to avoid.
For the curious, this chap is processing flax, then spinning it into cordage, then twisting those cords into rope.

This is from Eugenio Monesma, a man who has dedicated his life to making documentaries about all the living traditions and craftsmen that still live in Spain, is not the first time Iâve seen his stuff uncredited on Tik Tok, which is a shame because he has over 20 years worth of videos of his work for free on his channel.
Even if you donât understand Spanish do give it a look please, very interesting stuff, youâre sure to find something interesting across his 1000+ videos.
Luckyly this video comes with subtitles so please enjoy seeing the process more in depth
