hello everyone! my name is chrome and i am a full time AAC user from texas, usa.
you may know me from @cytochrome-sea (main) or @chrome-barkz-aac (AAC sideblog)

free palestine, congo & sudan. we do human rights here.
this blog has no DNI because communication is a human right + our system has an efficient protector.
this blog will be SFW, but i will do NSFW symbols if you ask and are over 18. i just will not post them here. instead, they will go straight to the AACIL or my website (wip)

you can send whatever requests you want, but please check my notion first*.
i can accept or deny any requests i want. (but i'll draw damn near anything)
please's and thank you's go a long way, but you never have to apologize for asking for something.
asks don't have to be requests for symbols! you can bark at me for any reason!
*(if you're sending me requests for stuff about niche identities (e.g. xenogenders) a link to a coining post would be greatly appreciated and i may have to ask you more questions about how to best represent the concept)
i have a "you can't pay me to care" policy. i dont care what you use my symbols for, i don't care why you're requesting stuff, and i don't care what you're going to do with my work. (e.g. using my therian gear symbols as kink gear symbols. i live in a state that wants me dead. i have bigger fish to fry.)
my symbols are licensed under the noncommercial creative commons with AACIL so i do not own them, nor do i require credit for their use. they belong to my community, not me. for more information about my permissions, check under resources. [TL DR - the only thing you cannot do with my symbols is make other people pay to use them]
you are ALWAYS allowed to edit the saturation, color palette, brightness, or anything else about my symbols. you can even draw over them. again, you cannot pay me to care.

MY VALUES:
drawing for AAC is something that i personally do not take lightly. it is my goal in life to live in service of others. i don't need (or want) recognition for my work. this is not an attempt at fame, on tumblr or anywhere else. i cannot describe how humbled i am when someone chooses my symbols to be part of their voice. my goal in creating this blog is to serve the AAC community (users and their caregivers), and the Disabled community at large. i do the best i can as i am able, and i ask for your patience in unanswered asks/requests. i am just one artist at the end of the day, and although this work is rewarding, it is taxing. pleases and thank you’s go a long way as well during requests.
i'm doing this for free, and won't ever stop doing this for free, but if you want to support me or commission me for more complex digital art, my ko-fi is listed under resources in this post.

serious answer for the first one tho:
if a speaking person gets to say something, even something taboo, they have access to that word in their vocabulary. if you can say it i should be able to as well. get over yourself.
additionally, if i want to talk about stuff that i dont agree with, i need the words of the stuff so i can say it. so like, say i want to say the phrase “donald trump is a white supremacist” (clipping, et al)
i need the words “donald trump” and “white supremacist” in order to put that phrase together. so it follows that i need symbols for those things. do i like donald trump and white supremacy? no. do i need to define it in order to talk about it? yes.

offishally 🐠 passed the 70% mark of symbols put into the back end of neocities!!! according to my google sheets pie chart that should be 473.2 symbols in so i definitely fucked up my math but who give a fuck we are so close chat

I tried looking on your Notion site, but didn't see them. You have a note it's a work in progress so I'm just checking to see if you have them and I just didn't see them or they haven't been uploaded yet

hi im so sorry i know this ask is from fuckin september.
these are finally finished, and will be put on the upcoming neocities when i have it up and running. there will also be some additional genital symbols that i have in the worx, including symbols for:
cervix, mons pubis, vaginal canal, shaft (of penis), another version of urethra, raphe, breasts after top surgery, estrogenized penis, and hopefully a few more [edit: if my programmer doesn't kill me /joke]
i'm hoping the whole neocities with every symbol i've ever done, will be ready to unveil by the end of february to mid march?
