I hope you keep pushing. I know it’s hard and that there are a million things going on around you but stay focused. Stay passionate about where you’re headed, even if you don’t know exactly where that is yet. At least you’re moving. Sometimes, you find where you’re supposed to be by simply choosing a direction and taking a step. Be good to the people along the way. Keep true to what you love and the kind of life you want to live. Keep pushing, you could be almost there and not even know it.
Third time is the charm.
Mothers’ Day.
We see you.
Children who’ve lost their mothers
Children whose relationships with their mothers are broken
Women who long for children for whom is hasn’t or can’t happen
Mothers who’ve lost their children
Mothers whose relationships with their children are broken
Single fathers pulling double duty
…and countless others for whom this is a difficult day
We see you. You are not invisible. Take care of yourselves.
I would just like to say fuck you to everyone who made me feel inadequate growing up and ruining my self esteem for years. You all suck and I’m glad I don’t talk to any of you any more.
Adrenalina Skateboard Marathon 2015 I stood on the first place podium and felt like a winner because I placed first out of two women. I also won some goodies and potentially got offered sponsorship for a carbon fiber longboard startup. What is life?!

writing adult emails is awful
its like
hi [name of person],
this formatting is making me uncomfortable but I have to tell you something / ask you something that is vital to my career as a student.
I re-read and edited that sentence for an hour, but you’ll probably just glance over it for half a second.
thanks!

I have a stock format and structure I use.
Dear Person I am Writing To:
This is an optional sentence introducing who I am and work for, included if the addressee has never corresponded with me before. The second optional sentence reminds the person where we met, if relevant. This sentence states the purpose of the email.
This optional paragraph describes in more detail what’s needed. This sentence discusses relevant information like how soon an answer is needed, what kind of an answer is needed, and any information that the other person might find useful. If there’s a lot of information, it’s a good idea to separate this paragraph into two or three paragraphs to avoid having a Wall of Text.
If a description paragraph was used, close with a restatement of the initial request, in case the addressee ignored the opening paragraph.
This sentence is just a platitude (usually thanking them for their time) because people think I’m standoffish, unreasonably demanding, or cold if it’s not included.
Closing salutation,
Signature.
People always ask me how I can fire off work emails so quickly. Nobody has figured out yet that it’s the same email with the details changed as needed.
Step up your pool game, loser sets the rack, Future memory, that's a fact. Strangers into homies, Stranger even knowing that Years pass, yet we still keep intact as phone contacts. Got your message, I'll send one back. Though some days they'll be delayed Just be patient, don't mean to keep you waiting. And this goes without saying: I'm dead set on staying. Forevers a stretch, but I'mma do my best
In the past 16 days, I’ve worked a combined (shuttles and PFA) total of 35.75 + 48.25= 84 hours on top of taking 4+2 units of class. Some of my days this past month have legit been from 6:15am - 9pm, yet somehow I still haven’t collapsed. Three more days til the end of summer session.

When friend is clearly upset but they don’t wanna talk about it but you wanna help but don’t know how and you just kinda
Stubborn is an understatement I wonder if the path I've paced Has been a mistake and If my motivation will ever reawaken Or if this is what it feels to be graduating I'm shaken By the future I will soon face I misplaced my purpose in this space Some days seem like a mindless waste I'm complacent But certain if I continue towards the scent I'll be amazed by the taste of the present

I donated blood! After the health history portion of the screening, Roberto said to me sarcastically, "Well, you're alive." Hell yeah I'm alive! I feel so much more so now that I finally got a chance to do this. I've been wanting to do this for years, but I've always been underweight on donation standards. I got rejected the first time I went in to donate blood last month after I thought I went over the minimum. I almost flaked this time too. The nurse decided to take her lunch break right before it was my turn to go in. I'm so happy I had the patience that day. My arm was stinging the rest of the day but the entire experience was so worth it.
Procrastinated my studies all day whatup. I'm justifying the former with these strawberries I dipped for Faye. Gotta give myself a pat on the back for this one. I'm so awesome.
