I found my self in a dark place I’ve been to before. Things seem different but can’t tell it’s to dark. This place has a feeling like I belong here. Like the dark place is my home.

I’m starting to hallucinate bad things. Have I lost my self once again?

As I think those words, I hear it being said loudly as it echoes through the abyss of darkness.

What happen to the light that pulled me away from this place called home.

As a reminder the host of this place shows me my own scars that have healed.

But the scars aren’t on my skin there no blood drawn. But the pain is very real. Just like when they happened the first time.

As this goes on. The pain gets worse and the darker it gets. I no longer see my self.

I see an image of a man hanging from nothing and a body on the ground next to me.

I take a good look at the faces and realize they are me.

Images of my self, I begin to get more afraid of what this place has in store for me.

As the hours and days pass. I no longer want to be here.

It’s so dark that I can’t find an exit.

As the sweat falls from my body and the tears down my cheek.

This place reminds me I’m a broken image.

A shattered stone that wasn’t forged.

A flame that burnt out. Because no body keep using it to get warm.

This place called home got colder.

It pulled me toward a picture.

Show people I know with smiles and no fears.

As I look at this picture I found that light in the glare of the glass. I look behind me and nothing is there.

I feel there is no way out.

The place called home is the nightmare in my mind.

Time doesn’t exist

This distance or space is hard.

This empty bed is so cold.

I’m use to having you near.

Every day that passes I count down the time.

Waiting to see if things between us get better.

The love that we had would come back.

I’ll wait a eternity for that feeling to come back if i have too.

But I don’t know how long this body of mine will last.

I just know deep down inside of me the fire is still lit.

It’s just waiting for you to comeback to it.

How long that will be. I do not know.

But for you I’ll stick around.

I’ll make changes like I always do.

I’ll adapt to the situation just like a survivor would do.

The distance or space wouldn’t be hard.

This bed wouldn’t be cold.

You would be near.

There would be no time.

Because for you my love,

Do you hear the rain falling from the sky?

Do you see the sky shine for you even when it’s dark.

If you just listen you might get a better point of view.

If you just look you will see.

That this world is yours for the taking.

Only if you want it.

No I don’t hear or see what your talking about. I know I’m not blind or deaf.

The world isn’t for the taking.

Even if I wanted it.

So how do you know what’s out there for me?

I know what out there for you because I’ve seen it.

I’ve seen what your able to do and how much you can hold.

But I feel weak and I don’t know what I can do. I don’t even know where to begin?

It’s easy if you just listen and look.
