I was thinking about the silly little mobile hellphones they use in Mairuma and I kept laughing to myself bc why, when they are so much more advanced in every way than the human world, do they still use mobile phones that look like they're from 2004. then I realised upon further inspection that they're actually really not more advanced at all, and it's all just magic. magic existing in the demon world makes them able to do things we cant, like floating TV screens and flying amusement parks and insane stage effects. it tricked me. when I look at their actual non-magic technology its almost all perpetually stuck in the early 2000s-2010s and it's so funny LMAO. Even lied's dumbass little demon PSP.
