Here’s why eyes not being breedable/buyable sucks.
Suppose you want a dragon with a particular color combo, and ~primal~ eyes. You don’t care about breed OR gender.
Going off of data generated so far from scries, scattersights, and actual hatches, we’ll generously give primal a 1% chance of appearing in a given hatchling (for the record, this is pretty much the same as Multi). Because breed doesn’t matter, you manage to get your hands on a pair of exactly identical, unrelated, different breed plentifuls (obviously highly unlikely of ever happening for most all projects). These dragons can pop out identical clones of your preferred color combo every 15 days, with an average weighted clutch size of 2.7.
This means that there is a roughly 50% chance you will have hatched your dream dragon after 68.97 hatchlings (25.6 clutches), or 383.17 days. Years have 365.25 days (leap years)- this means it will take 1.05 YEARS (1 year and 18.25 days).
Under unrealistically perfect conditions- the perfect breeding pair, no preference for sex or breed, never missing a single day of nest incubation, it takes OVER A YEAR to have a FIFTY PERCENT CHANCE at that dragon.
Now consider that most all breeding pairs do not produce clones- the bigger the range, the more astronomically difficult it becomes. Just a 1 color difference in 1 gene doubles the time it takes. Don’t want to buy a scroll/want an Imp? Enjoy seeing that process take as much as over twice that long! Want a particular sex? Enjoy your doubled wait time! Fate not smiling upon your 50/50 odds? Sorry, nothing you can do but keep breeding! Sure hope you’re not using nest rentals!

Warrior Cats fan fiction, I’ll let you sit on that one for a bit. It’s not like she’s 12-15, she’s over twenty.
I read all the chats and I just hate what she does. She’s a big dom person and all she can talk about is her work, changing flights, or her damn lore. Like sweetie, I don’t want to hear about your damn kids or how you were late to x and forgot y. I don’t get how wind or lightening handled her, maybe it’s only in the big flight chat, I don’t know.

Is it hurting you? Probably not, but block them.
Does it gross you out? Probably, so block them.
Is it bothering you now that you know they’re out there, on the same dragon site as you? Almost definitely. Block them.
Should you call them out for liking something that grosses you out? No. They aren’t responsible for the kind of stuff you see on the internet. You are. Block them.
Should you accuse them of supporting real incest? No! What the hell? What’s the matter with you? Liking something in fiction ≠ supporting it in reality. I don’t really rant about things very often, but this really kind of irked me, so here goes. Sorry for the salt.
So earlier this morning, while the auction house was all messed up, I didn’t really care and started listing dragons around fodder price, but not exactly at it, so I could check and see it when it was fixed. I got home just about an hour ago and none of them sold yet, so I was going to take them down when I got the notification that someone bought a cute G1 I hatched and put up on accident. The person’s lair is very lovely, and the dragon fit in and was in the process of being spoiled with apparel + a cool accent when I was typing my message, which I’ll put below. I believed it was polite enough, I was trying to be casual about it so it’s a little informal, but I asked if I could buy it back from them since it was a mistake on my part.
A few minutes later I get the reply, but this is the part that really bothers me because it just seems so condescending to me personally. Maybe they didn’t mean it, I don’t know.
“Sorry that you’re human and make mistakes, I’ve gotten what I wanted!” I wouldn’t be mad if it didn’t come off in that way, idk, maybe I’m reaching. It just makes me feel bad. If the person who bought him is reading this, then I’m not mad at you, you have every right to keep the dragon since I sold it. I just feel kind of hurt by the reply to me talking.

Snobbish reply? They were perfectly polite. The ‘unfortunatly for you’ might read a bit harshly, but if they had said ‘unfortunatly’, no one would care. People are just looking for reasons to be offended and throwing tantrums because someone didn’t give back a mispriced derg.

Seriously some people are so dumb, and especially whoever posted that here. Literally there are 4 other wartoads for sale on the AH, significantly lower. Yet OP is sitting there bumping their wartoad board like a dumb bass. You think people are gonna pay 400k more just cause you advertise? You think people are gonna pay 100k more cause you are bumping it up? Either the user is incredibly stupid or is being shady, hoping some poor noob will see the board and just pay the price for it because they don’t know to check around (and yeah I did this when I started fr). Look if you want to price your item well over LAH I get it sometimes you can get a sale when the others sell, no one asked them to sell it for lower, it’s just dumb to sit there bumping something that literally no one would buy unless they don’t know any better (ie. taken advantage of). Honestly some people on fr do the most stupid things, I feel relieved when someone calls them out. But it’s always the calling out that creates the drama, not the actions completely devoid of logic. I’ve seen someone literally change their username and make a whole scene just because someone pointed out how dumb it was to bid up an auction unnecessarily way before the end on a 5 min auction. M isn’t scamming anyone or in “cahoots” (seriously?), he just has really low patience for idiots … and sometimes I really can’t blame him.
So, um. Who’s it hurting, exactly? If someone doesn’t check the AH prices before buying something,that’s on them- or if they have the treasure to throw around at abandon without caring about the price of things, then cool. Also, at the time of this reblog, the cheapest Wartoad is 749kt. Then 800. So the person is the highest currently, but yea, but still within perfectly acceptable pricing range.
