Circling back on this from nine weeks ago.
Any media pushback on these unhinged lies?
If there was ever any need to prove that the mainstream US "press" have no spine, no ethics, and no morals it's that they never once question any of these blatant lies beyond maybe the mildest of inquiries.
Trump straight up calls them names, says that they're terrible people, questions their intelligence, calls them ugly, insults their weight, etc etc etc; and they just take it. They take it because all of them are afraid of having their press credentials revoked and being blacklisted from right wing spaces.
Then they sit back and go "why is trust for us at an all time low?".
Don't forget using them as bait! At least that's Levitt woman had the good sense to quit while she was still ahead XD
I haven't seen this one yet...
Funnily enough this quote makes sense in context. Elves themselves recognized that their time was coming to an end in Middle Earth at the end of the Third Age. They have weakened considerably and were leaving for Valinor in considerable numbers.
yeah i like to give my blessing to the most pathetic looking weak little knight at the tournament. she can’t even look me in the eye when i give her my flower and she stutters out that she’ll do her best or something of the like. i think its funny when she has to cry and beg my forgiveness and i get to say “such a shame, i suppose my hand in marriage will have to go to someone else…” and then i get to hear her whimper like a dog. ive done this like 6 times alrea-
did she just win.
I shall prepare a stew for the wedding! Extra salt!
wait wait wait stew goblin wait
get ready for the wedding
Her smirk at the end

Thank you very much for the general recommendation of Murcielago! The action is great, the story and connection to past cases are great, and the lewdness is great too! I'm very easily a fan of it now, as I'm making my way through the hot springs arc, and especially a fan of Ukina for obvious reasons, but all of the girls are super cute in it!
Murcilago really is just SO damn good,
Ukina is always a treat when she shows up to be the normal person POV bearing witness to the fucked up state sponsered murder hobo lesbian cryptids that the series is centered around, but for my own VERY obvious reasons there is no world in which Ran wasnt going to be my all time favorite character in the series. FFS seeing caps of her is why I started reading the series at all!
Every time she shows up its always an absolute delight either shes there to be one of the most wonderfully wholesome kind and supportive characters in the series
or
Shes in battle maniac mode and having the time of her life, all the fights in murcilago are amazing but oh my god the fights that Ran gets are something else entirely all of them are an amazing mix of hilarious and badass, and then there is her fight against hightower which is one of the best written paneled paced and executed fights I have ever read in any manga ever for me its certainly the best fight in murcilago to date!!!
Of course on any new blog of mine I will inevitably get around to posting this moment of with Ran as its the best example of how this woman is as terrifying as she is hilarious as she has just so much fun when given the chance to go on a rampage!!!
She not only is going to win any fight she get into, unless you can actually somehow stand against this 7ft tall mountain of muscle whos spent her whole life training to fight she wont even give you the dignity of taking you even slightly seriously before reducing you to a bloody smeer
And soon we will see her animated
Far as I can tell the cast list of VA's of whos playing who has yet to be released and while its not impossible fo Ran to show up in the first season its unlikely as she isnt introduced until volume seven of the manga and knowing how long the arcs are that preceded that volume the only way S1 gets to her intro is if they cut an arc and rush through the others.
Honestly even with how much I love her I want this adaptation to actually be ya know GOOD
Yeah, it better be good and slow so that we may get a second season as well.

Read some actual comics, Kyle.
Superman is an incredibly kind and tender character. (If he’s not being written that way, then he’s not being written well.) He inspires hope not just through his heroics, but also through his kindness toward other people. That’s his thing. Don’t you DARE call tenderness a “weakness.” Get your toxic masculinity the hell away from me and go read a badly written Batman comic if you want a “tough” male character.
Why on EARTH would someone think Superman being tough and Superman being kind are contradictory?
Is that a Snyder fan telling someone that “you’re wrecking the character, create something new instead of making an interpretation that’s so off-base”?
Because Snyder is the guy who wanted the Greek Gods to all be Kryptonians and the Amazons to be descended from them.
Where's that comic where Superman comforts Billy?
I saw that tweet by Gunn and thought “So, like regular Superman?”
Kyle sounds like Lex Luthor who believed that Superman doesn’t have a Civilian identity because such a godlike being would see it as beneath him. Also here you go @simon-newman
I love that it's really clear that Shazam feels guilty over putting that sorta responsibility on a kid. It's likely that he hadn't wanted to to begin with, but felt like he had to.
SHE WHAT?!
Was Laplace watching One Piece? She wants to become the Hero of the Marines now XD ?

poor things, well we should definitely make this easier on them by never repeatedly mentioning their name and deeds on the "reblog things forever" website
yea that'd be a shame
by the way, just so everyone knows what not to do, shift+r reblogs a post instantly
just make sure you don't reblog anything about oceangate because that would completely undermine their entire plan 😇😇😇
You also shouldn't queue a post, that would make people keep remembering this post for a longer time, which is the opposite of forgetting
Asquith Xavier was initially refused a guard's job because of the discriminatory "colour bar" but challenged the decision.
A blue plaque has been installed at the former west London home of Asquith Xavier, a West Indian railway worker who became a leading figure in the fight for racial equality in Great Britain.
Xavier became the first black guard at Euston Station in 1966 after successfully challenging an unofficial policy banning "non-white" people from higher paid jobs at some railway stations.
Despite being an experienced guard, bosses at Euston initially refused him a job due to his race.
English Heritage, which runs a London-wide blue plaque scheme, said it hoped the plaque in Notting Hill would help ensure Xavier's "remarkable contribution" to the equal rights movement was remembered.
Xavier's daughter Maria Xavier and granddaughter Camealia Xavier-Chihota officially unveiled the plaque in a ceremony at the house Xavier lived in during the campaign at 149 Ledbury Road on Friday.
What did Asquith Xavier do?
Born on the island of Dominica in 1920, Xavier travelled to London in the late 1950s as part of the Windrush generation.
He started working for British Railways at Marylebone Station the next day and quickly progressed from porter and carriage cleaner to train guard.
In 1966, his application to transfer to Euston Station was rejected.
It was later explained to Xavier in a letter that managers at Euston would not allow the transfer of "coloured staff".
Rather than accept the decision, Xavier challenged it, with support from his trade union.
His case became a national story and his campaign exposed the existence of a "colour bar" operating on London's railways.
During the summer of 1966, he was interviewed by newspapers outside the house on Ledbury Road.
Here, he told reporters he was not seeking publicity but simply wanted the opportunity to progress his career and support his family.
On 15 July 1966, British Rail announced that the "colour bar" at Euston and St Pancras would end and Xavier was given the position he had applied for.
A month later, he became the first black railway guard to work out of Euston Station.
His story has since been commemorated at Euston and Chatham stations, and a train has been named in his honour.
Howard Spencer, senior historian at English Heritage, said: "Asquith Xavier's story is a powerful reminder that ordinary people can have an extraordinary impact.
"He was not seeking to become a campaigner or public figure.
"His fight began with a simple desire for a fair opportunity to support his family, but it became a landmark moment in Britain's struggle against workplace discrimination."
Damn I misread it as plague at first and was wondering what kind of bullshit was KKK up to this time.
Re: sailors on USS Abraham Lincoln on half rations.
People today: Why did Sun Tzu feel the need to tell military commanders that soldiers need food?
CEOs today: How come my employees need to be paid and don't just work to make me wealthier? It is a failure on their.
People today: WOW, how come those CEOs don't understand their workers are human beings? Wish someone told them that people work more efficiently when their needs are met and they're being motivated with proper compensation.
Yeah people forget that Sun-Tzu was writing for spoiled, inbred noblemen who were as divorced from reality as one can be.
