Fogo de Deus e Manda Chuva
Kuduro (hard ass) is a urban cultural movement born in Angola during the last decade of the Civil War.
The movement was created in the underground clubs and raves of the lower east side of Luanda trough a fusion of House music beats, Techno and traditional Angolan rhythms. In the early stages it was focused in the city’s ghettos and it gradually crossed over to the center of the city. In the years following it quickly spread overseas.
Kuduro music mixes dance and a lifestyle, the lyrics behind the popular tunes are inspired by the everyday life, and the culture is present everywhere in schools, taxis and football stadiums.
"I LOVE KUDURO" follows the new age of Angolan stars of this urban phenomenon that draws attention from young people all over the world. Watch as the artists leave their comfortable zone in Luanda and go overseas.
Featuring singers: Bruno de Castro, Eduardo Paim, Sebem, Nagrelha, Hochi Fu, Os Namayer, Tchobari, Titica, Francis Boy and Cabo Snoop. Here is a different vision of the new generation of kuduristas.
