long-overdue hiatus announcement

What job can you see my muse having in a modern AU?
((//also quietly notes that summer will be busy for me (the mod), so replies will come very slowlyāespecially the upcoming two weeks, since Iāll be in China and all. Sorry! ; v ;ā ))
Donāt mind the nerd over there, heās just trying to take selfies while making silly faces.

((Fjf;dalsjif--so sorry for being away from this blog for so long! I havenāt had much of a Soo muse, so unfortunately this blog may be on hiatus--Iāve been caught up in a lot of things and I donāt really have the muse for RP in general (for the most part). Once again, so sorry. ;; v ;;ā ))
So sorry!
((So so rry for this unexpected hiatus--some real-life things happened and I just kind of. slacked off here. Iām not quite sure when Iāll pick up again--definitely when the Soo muse returns, though Iām not sure when exactly that will be--bu t for now, Iām very sorry for sudden hiatus. ; 7 ; ))

dae-han-min-guk:
āThatās the spirit!ā Expression elated, Soo nodded vigorously, before sinking back down in his seat as the cab began its route to the museum.
He would be lying if he said that the praises flowing from Leah at that moment didnāt stoke his ego at least a littleĀ bit. It was pretty obvious that she knew exactly where he felt the proudestāwhere his citizensā accomplishments were concerned, in other wordsāand used that to probably get him to relax a little. Which actually, in fact, did workānot that he would admit it. His suspicions might not have left him, but he was at ease around her right now nevertheless.
Nodding enthusiastically at Leahās response to his little comment about keeping sights in memory, Soo then had to take a moment to think about a good response to her question.Ā āAigoāsāreally hard question,Ā ācause I canāt really choose!ā Still grinning as he glanced back at her through the rearview mirror, the teen personification finally decided on one he could definitely share.Ā āThoughĀ mujunglyeogāZero Gravityāās a good one! Idong-giĀ did a great job on that one, ahāitās colorful and varied in design.ā
It didnāt take long after his last response left his mouth for the cab to arrive at the museumāin other words, it seemed the drive had been faster than originally, perhaps, suspected. Though a little dark now, Soo doubted it would be much trouble to get in if he explained himself. Counting the amount to pay the cabdriver as quickly as possible, he told the driver to keep the change as he got out of the cab and, in turn, went to open the door for Leah.
āWelcome to Gallery Hyundai!ā he proclaimed in as dramatic a fashion as he could, taking a sort of mock bow at the end.
ā Well, Soo sure was excitedā¦that was nice.Ā
Ā Ā Leah was, too, but perhaps more so for the treasure trove of information she would be getting at the end of this whole journey. She would get to learn the personality of this mysterious man, as well as whatever else he so decided to share in the near future about his status as anĀ āunnatural beingā.
Ā Ā Politely, she listened to him speak whimsically about the paintings and pieces he enjoyed - she, of course, had never heard of them, or at least not by name. Nonetheless, there was a building desire to see what exactly got him so hyped about the particular pieces he was speaking of.Ā
Ā Ā Widened eyes at the museum as the cab stopped showed that their time of arrival was most unexpected.
Ā Ā āWowā¦already here.ā The female stated simply as the door was opened; she stepped out with a mock bow right back,Ā āNo need for holding the door, Iāve got it~.ā Not to mention, she wasnāt used to being treated in such a fashionā¦not that it was a bad thing, it was just strangely embarrassing for her.Ā
Ā Ā āShall we go, sir?āĀ
Blinking for maybe only a split second after Leahās claim about the door, Soo merely pushed the cab door a little bit wider before letting go, just so he wouldnāt accidentally let it slam into Leah. That would be incredibly rude, and he wasnāt one for treating a guest--even one as mildly suspicious and unique, as it seems, as her--rudely. It wasnāt his style. There were exceptions, of course, but for the most part he had his manners intact.
āIf yāsay so,ā he replied agreeably, grinning.Ā āLetās go!ā
~
It was only a bit of a hassle to get through the entrance.
Though technically visitors at this time would be leaving or gone and not just entering, the Korean personification managed to negotiate his and Leahās way into the gallery for at least an hour, provided they donāt loiter or carry anything dangerous.
Bleh.
That part always annoyed him--heād been here enough that they shouldĀ know he himself would never permit that kind of thing. Ever. Thankfully, though, he managed to contain his annoyance with the inquiries--or at least, he hoped he did.
The walls and floor were rather plain inside, but the exhibitions more than made up for it. It almost seemed as though everywhere they turned, there would be some sort of mural or sculpture greeting them, from a series of analog clocks on one wall to his favorite Zero Gravity, in all its colorful and haphazard glory, on another.
For Soo, it was just as nice and comforting as being at home, but he had no idea how Leah felt. Was she a bit overwhelmed, or perhaps used to these kind of sights? Not that heād feel better with the latter--he prided himself on his uniqueness, after all. Glancing back at her with an expectant smile, he scratched the back of his head and tried to appear modest.Ā āGuess this isnāt much to see,ā he remarked idly, though not really believing his words there. In fact, he believed almost the exact opposite of what had come out of his mouth.Ā āBut--what dāyou think so far?ā
