hey guys, it’s me, mod jorts. i’ve been putting this off for months but, there’s no better time but the present. some of you may or may not’ve noticed my absence from the blog, sorry about that. i joined and i tried to get myself to draw every day.  that didn’t work. but in the past couple weeks especially, i found myself unmotivated to do any fan art. it’s just not my calling. so i’m leaving this blog, it’s actually been pretty stressful for me believe it or not. i’ve been here since the beginning and so much of this blog and the people in it have shaped me in the past year and a half. if you still want to see my work you can follow my main @vintage-cryptid i leave, finally with a sollux you deserve that i couldn’t give you while i was here.

How do yall feel about..... soldave

It’s very good!!!! They’re both assholes with issues, and I think Sollux’s blunt, frank nature would be great for Dave to bounce back off of. They compliment each other very well. (They both also drink that respect women juice.)

Sollux is a very warm and loving person to the people closest to him (Aradia, Feferi, and Karkat), and Dave, coming from a cold, uncaring household that abused him by subjecting him to hyper-vigilance and violence, would fucking love how genuinely kind Sollux is. Sollux has a lot of bark, but there’s no bite in it, and just like Dave, he’d sacrifice himself a billion times to protect his best friends.

Sollux and Dave are both lowkey people who’d bond just by sitting in the same room together for hours while saying nothing. They’d play video games together and be that annoying gamer couple that’re too competitive and crush all of the other couples in competitions, but at home they’d just chill in the same place and let both of them rejuvenate from socializing with people (they’re huge introverts). Then the next day, they’d go back to pestering each other to make them die in their games, and they’d make up the craziest insulting pet-names for each other.

With their respective God Tier titles, Knight of Time and Mage of Doom, they’d both strive to help each other when the other’s down. They’re both prone to bits of depression (they’re both traumatized from their childhoods and their deaths in Sburb, and both probably have frequent nightmares or minor triggers), and they’d help dress the other and get out of bed. If both of them don’t have the energy, though, they’d just sit in bed the entire day, sharing secrets in a feelings jam, before sleeping their shitty mood off.
