day 85. uhhh, hi!

I know it’s been almost a month since I realyl posted something for you, and for that, I am so sorry. quarantine has been... interesting. in general, the time to refresh, recharge, and refocus has welcome. on the flip side: my anxiety is having a field day. I thought taking a break from kataras was exactly what I needed, and it did work! yesterday, all I could think about doing was focusing on a katara. so, hopefully, from this point forward, I’m back. actually back. I love drawing katara and I love all of you. thank you for following and staying with me while I took some time away. I needed it, but I am so happy to be back!

this katara is just kinda special to me because this is the last katara I will ever draw as a 20-year-old. when I turned 20, I loved visual art, but I was horrible at it. couldn’t draw to save my life. I’m still a work in progress, and I know I have a long way to go. but during this year, I fell in love with drawing katara, and she has brought me so far. 

tomorrow, I turn 21. but katara and I aren’t nearly done.

this is just the beginning for us, master waterbender. 💙🌊

day 83 - a goofy little sketch to say HI, and also, sorry! I know my posting has been so inconsistent on this blog over the last few weeks, but real talk: quarantine is killing my motivation to do productive things! I am not even kidding you when I say that I’m still drawing every single day - but I just never have the drive to draw katara. 

but I miss her, and you guys, so, here I am!
