hello! my name is ollie, i’m 18, i use they/them pronouns and i really like snakes. this is a blog where i post a different species of snake every day! hopefully i will learn a little more about snakes this way, and you can too!
i recognize that some people have a fear of snakes, so i will be tagging #snake tw on my posts.
Today’s snake is the boomslang (Dispholidus typus). It is a venomous colubrid snake endemic to sub-Saharan Africa.
Today’s snake is the Sahara sand viper (Cerastes vipera). It is a venomous viper endemic to North Africa and the Sinai Peninsula.
Today’s snake is the Mexican black kingsnake (Lampropeltis getula nigrita). It is a non-venomous colubrid snake and a subspecies of the common kingsnake. It is found in Southern California, Mexico, Sinaloa, and Arizona.
