Shoot with the Little Sis

This doll agreed to be my model. She is a real gift.
I still remember it clearly, the time when mama was found to have placenta previa early in her pregnancy. Words can’t describe how worried we were, though the doctor said it's not usually a considered problem . She said that it happens to a woman who have had children before. Besides, it won't cause any complications nor an early delivery unless the placenta's still close to the cervix. Unfortunately, it happened in mama's case and it caused her bleeding.
{Putting Photos in between paragraphs so you won't get tired of reading}
Mama had this unusual kind of pregnancy I didn't understand when I was 10. Well, I still don't understand It up to this day that's why I had to google it. It says on a website describing cases of pregnancies that the placenta grows wherever the embryo implants itself in the uterus (ive read it in a book too). If the embryo implants itself in the lower portion of the uterus, the placenta might grow over the cervix causing placenta previa. You need not understand that fully. But you get my point right? So enough of the scientific side.
She’s a real charmer isn't she?
That time my older brother and I managed to learn how to do household chores because mama won’t be able to do these stuff. She was in bed all day all night. Can barely walk to have a bath, nor grab the remote control to on the television. She's completely bedridden.
I Never thought waiting for your baby sis to come out of your mom’s womb could be very weary. While mama’s in bed regaining strength, I was assigned to clean and dispose bloodstained mattresses and stuff. But I was much more happy than worried when my sister was finally born. I named her Frances Janelle. Frances came from papa’s name Francisco, while Janelle’s used to be the favorite name I used to have whenever my cousins and I play bahay-bahayan or lutu-lutuan and so I insisted on including it as her second.
I was very much proud and appreciative of my sister’s growth and development. I am that kind of ate who’d write valentine’s day letter to my not-even-a-month-old sister and would take pictures of her every 22nd of the month, edit it with the built-in photo editor on mama’s old nokia cellphone and put on texts saying “I am Frances and today I am nth month old”.
Every single thing she learns, I brag it out with my cousins and neighbors. From those simple syllables she uttered, to completely coherent words she’s able to organize. From those moments when she moved inside mama’s womb to the day she learned to stand and walk. From the rattle sets she had broken to play kitchen sets and lego toy houses she continuously collects and impairs. All these little things, I am thankful and blessed to have this young one.
To this day she continues to surprise us and give us headaches at the same time. She does not want to be disturbed watching the Chronicles of Narnia, Matilda, The Parent Trap and other Disney Pixar's movies for the nth time. Then she ends up memorizing every line from those movies. I may sound a bit exaggerated but it’s true. She’s that type of grade-schooler who would choose to play minecraft over reviewing but gets high scores during exams.
She’s the sun in our own planet system called family. Just as how the sun gives off helium and hydrogen particles, Tiyet too supplies us a fusion of various happiness and good vibe particles which give my family a special kind of energy. Undeniably, she’s a real star who brightens up things when the ambiance gets dim. (wow it rhymed)
I remember the time I cried over an expensive doll. I prayed to God that He’d give it to me as a gift but I didn't get it. As the cliche goes, good things come to those who wait. Not long after that moment, He had given me this true-to-life doll I am very much thankful for.
