COD:MW/WoF Character Crossover Ideas

Alongside my previous post, I have been cooking, so to speak. Nothing on the plot yet, but just the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare characters and their dragon types/names

Of course, things could always change based on suggestions or other ideas, but I figured I could share so far, in case there are people who are actually interested in this, and I'm not just taking into the void.

First, I suppose, I'll talk about the ones whose names I've already sorta decided on, and then we'll go to the ones where I have multiple names and can't quite decide yet.

Up first, Captain John Price. He's going to be a RainWing, but he's rogue and forming his own group to help stop things in certain parts of the continents. His name is Jauari.

With Price, next up is Nikolai. He is a HiveWing, and his name is Borer (based on the OG games, where his first name was Belinski, but he technically doesn't have a known first name in the reboot games).

Then we have Ghost, who is a rogue IceWing, and his name is Sickle.

After that is Soap, who's a Sand/SkyWing hybrid, and his name is Jackal.

Moving on from the main Task Force, we have Farah, who is a SandWing, and her name is Fallow.

Then we have Alejandro and Rudy, who are both MudWings, and their names are Alder and Russet.

Lastly, we have Makarov, who is a HiveWing, and his name is Manticora.

(I'm understanding this is very long, forgive me!!) And now, we have the ones who I've decided on what type of dragon they could be, but I have multiple names for them:

Laswell - NightWing; Kaguya, Lunarite

Gaz - RainWing; Kumquat, Glare

Alex - NightWing; Allseer, Andromeda, Khonsu

Hadir - SandWing; Hwamei, Khamsin

General Shepherd - NightWing; Saros, Sinseer

Graves - NightWing; Painkiller, Pridekeeper, Harbinger

Valeria - MudWing; Garter, Glaswort (there's nothing earth-related that begins with V! :(

I recently reread the entire wings of fire series for the first time since late highschool and fell in love with them all over again. I could not get this vision to stop plaguing me until I put it down on paper. Arc 1 you are so beloved to me.

I know that I'm terrible at keeping up at things and I'm REALLY trying to get better (meaning I might have to rewrite some old stuff in order to get back into it)

but like...

it's kinda different from what y'all would expect because yknow I'm usually all dc or mha and all that but I've been really getting into the reboot call of duty: modern warfare games and I'm also getting back into Wings of Fire (my childhood, I gotta reread them all and catch up)

But I'm developing ideas for like a COD/WOF crossover series? Like the cod:mw characters as dragons, and I'm thinking it vaguely follows the plot of the mw games but obviously they're dragons??? idk it's a major wip that I'm not working too hard on bc school is kicking my butt these last couple of weeks as well as life in general but

if anyone has ocs they'd like to share (cod or wof or even just in general that I could adapt), I'd happily try and give you all credit??? maybe I'll make this big fancy thing if this idea goes really big but I feel like i'd need more than just the base characters in the games to really do anything

now i feel kinda silly typing all of this bc idek if this is gonna get anywhere but this is tumblr where you can really just post anything so I'm just gonna finish this before I continue rambling lmao

It is 1 am and we are awake staring at the ceiling in the dark thinking about autistic Bruce Wayne and each of the Robins watching and learning how to coexist with an autistic parent/adult in their lives. He's still their dad, he's still the man who raised them, and he did the best he could. It's an extension of their care for him, their understanding of the ways of his mind, as incoherent as that can be.

Thinking about that moment in the comics where Bruce lets Dick eat just chips coz that's what he likes and I'm like what if he wasn't allowed access to his safe foods in an effort to not be picky and whenever Dick is around him in the cave (either as Robin or Nightwing) he just has a bag of chips or snacks they both like and they eat it together coz Dick knows Bruce probably hasn't eaten in a while and anything is better than nothing.

Thinking about little Jason holding Bruce’s hand throughout long galas they both attend, giving him one point of contact in the sea of overstimulation. After the pit, he doesn't do it as often (explaining the resurrection of a publicly dead child was complicated) but Bruce always finds a soft handkerchief tucked into his pockets where he doesn't remember putting it, J.T embroidered on the fabric that grounded him and didn't irritate his senses.

Thinking about Tim going along with Bruce’s insane labelling system without any questions, accepting it and even adopting it himself with zero complaints. The others had small protests when they started, but Tim got it, and that was more than enough.

Thinking about Steph who lets Bruce braid her hair whenever he seems overwhelmed or when she needs a break because it is calming to the both of them and one of the few ways they bonded during her turbulent time as Robin.

Thinking about Cass just existing around Bruce with no need for words to be exchanged between them, a natural buffer against things he can't handle at the moment, because she *gets* it in ways the others couldn't, not entirely. They hang around each other in the cave doing their own things and come out with a bond stronger than ever.

Thinking about Damian watching his father obsessively rewatch his cowl footage, making sure he didn't mistake what he saw, understanding that this was something Bruce needed to do to make sure his mind wasn't slipping to hallucinations. Damian softly taking his father's hand and redirecting that attention to polishing their weapons before all Bruce could think of was the blood and the death that dragged behind them every night.

Just the Batkids accommodating Bruce without making him feel like he's a burden <3
