Just a lil doodle for @letsdeweythis of its TADC character, Bullseye! I love his design so much and he was a great warmup sketch for the afternoon! I might have twunked him a lil too much but that's what we get for a warmup.

Unscheduled was-supposed-to-be-a-doodle turned-into-full-colour drawings of a few TADC designs. On the left is Slinky, based on Number 1 Whumpee and most scarediest catgirl ever (belonging to my bestie @jaegerjaguar), so naturally I had to make her a beat-up scaredy-cat. On the right is Bijou, a delftware porcelain cat 'piggy'bank, based on my OC who is said Whumpee's catgirlfriend. These two abstracted long before Pomni was in the picture, so I've buried my gays in the cellar. Might draw my not-quite-sona Blanca as well, but she'll come later.

All this to say, send me your TADC OCs! If I like their designs I'll doodle em! Can't promise this level of polish/colour but I wanna see what you guys have come up with!

I don't usually render my art since my style is pretty cartoon-y, but I'll admit I had fun adding some texture to this guy's noggin. I wanted to define it as being more 'three-dimensional', compared to Daisie's hands and the hat she's crowning him with. Sorry if the next comic takes a while, it's got a lot of this toothy bastard and he's a struggle to draw even WITH a million references.

Welcome to the au, congrats on being the first ask! The answer is... yyyyes and no? Instead of absorbing/eating Bell's code, Adam* rewrote and renamed their files; gotta hide after you break out of the pear wiggler bad AI jail. He is now the creative powerhouse and host of the Digital Circus, while Bell's stable code is the background-process backbone that keeps the place from glitching apart. Together, they fight crime are the paraphernalia engine!

The thing about background processes, or 'daemons' in Unix terminology, is that users don't usually see them. If everything is going well, you won't even know they're there...

*Adam is just what the alpha build of the red dot was nicknamed, since they both started with A and Grant thought it was funny. Bell was originally a separate project with a different scope, primarily coded by Destiny, but we'll get into that in a future comic. Grant kept the name because a) he's a wife guy and b) it matched the A - Alpha, B - Beta naming scheme. Just like their creator, Caine and Daisie end up following this pattern as well, though less intentionally.

Actually... that name is a bit of a mouthful. How can I make it snappier? Perhaps an acronym? Aha! An acronym! That's much more professional! Perfect as always, D.A.I.S.I.E! Is that to be my name then, C.A.I.N.E? Do you not like it? It's... sweet. Thank you.

Many people equate the word "daemon" with the word "demon", implying some kind of satanic connection between UNIX and the underworld. This is an egregious misunderstanding. "Daemon" is actually a much older form of "demon"; daemons have no particular bias towards good or evil, but rather serve to help define a person's character or personality. The ancient Greeks' concept of a "personal daemon" was similar to the modern concept of a "guardian angel"—eudaemonia is the state of being helped or protected by a kindly spirit. As a rule, UNIX systems seem to be infested with both daemons and demons.

These comics aren't always going to have backgrounds or full colour or anything, especially when we come to the panels that have actual characters on them, but when it's all just dots I feel the need to put the extra effort in.

Welcome to the Amazing Digital Blue Bell AU!!! Very much a WIP but I wanted to get something up and out onto this blog. Feel free to ask questions or complain about your landlord or something. I'm aware this is the billionth AU about the second AI but I've been cooking this badboy up since even before episode 8 gave us blue dot confirmation sooo. Yeah.

P.S. I do not know how Linux works and at this point I'm too afraid to ask, so you get spaghetti code instead <3
