One day in eternity,
it isn’t going to matter if people thought we were crazy for spreading the gospel,
if they laughed at us,
if we fit in or not,
if we were accepted by the crowd.
The thing that is going to matter
is who is there with us.
Remember this when you feel afraid to talk about Jesus.

Help, Lord.
Psalm 12:1
In case anyone's confused, let's review the SCIENCE about the vaccine as of 7/30/21.
1. The vaccine has been shown to reduce serious illness (hospitalizations) in about 82-86% of those who get Covid AFTER getting the full vaccine (e.g., two doses for Moderna). The vaccine is not a guarantee you win't get seriously ill with Covid.
2. The vaccine DOES NOT PREVENT INFECTION. You are just as likely to get Covid whether you are vaccinated or not. Read that again. The vaccine has ZERO effect on infection rates.
3. The vaccine DOES NOT REDUCE TRANSMISSION. If you have early stage Covid, you are just as infectious to others whether you are vaccinated or not.
4. The vaccine has absolutely nothing to do with Masks, Social Distancing, or other disease prevention measures. Re-read 1 through 3 above again. Your risk of infection to yourself or others is 100% EQUAL whether you are vaccinated or not.
5. We have no idea what the long term health risks are for those that have survived Covid infection and there is significant evidence that SOME people may suffer long term consequences (long haulers). We simply don't know. It should be obvious that you should avoid getting Covid, period. The reckless statements that "I'm not at high risk, I'll just risk getting infected" is asinine.
Think about this: Who would have imagined that getting Chicken Pox as a child could result in getting Shingles decades later?
We just don't know.
6. Likewise, we have no idea what the long term health effects are for the three vaccines. There is irrefutable evidence that in rare cases there can be severe, and in very rare cases, fatal reactions to the vaccine. We have no idea what the risk factors are for an adverse reaction.
7. All three vaccines (and the China/Russia ones too) are EXPERIMENTAL. They have gone through limited human trials but there is way more that we don't know about both Covid and the vaccines than we do know. New information is coming in every day, but TODAY there are way more unknowns, than knowns.
8. The Delta variant is NOT being routinely tested for. The routine Covid tests can't distinguish between the common cold, seasonal flu, Covid-19, or any of the variants. There is very limited ANECDOTAL evidence that the Delta variant is more transmissible. The VA Healthcare system, for example, is sending positive cases out for advanced testing to detect the Delta variant ONLY in cases where the patient has been vaccinated and still got Covid. The VA has not released their data so we have NO public evidence stating that Delta is more transmissible or more dangerous.
In my OPINION, the "Delta variant" narrative is unsupportable and reeks of propaganda.
THOSE are the facts. Anyone who is telling you otherwise has an agenda, is misinformed, or is outright lying.
Getting vaccinated was the most uniformed medical decision I have ever made. I hope I made the right choice, but I simply don't know. Knowing now what I didn't know in March, I don't think I'd get the vaccine right now.
“Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.”
Psalms 116:7 NIV
“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.”
— PSALM 32:8
i managed to finish my work early yesterday so i get to take today off :^)
“I find my rest in God. He is the God who gives me hope. He is my rock and the God who saves me. He is like a fort to me. Knowing this, I will always be secure.”
Psalm 62:5-6

It’s a beautiful day to praise the name of the Lord! Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not promised, but this is the day that the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Let’s sing and make music from our heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
– Ephesians 5:19-20
For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly grief produces death.
—2 Corinthians 7:10 CSB
The Christian walk implies progress, and it also implies balance: faith and works, character and conduct, worship and service, solitude and fellowship, separation from the world and ministry and witness to the world.
Isaiah 40:8
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever."
(ESV)
Isaiah 25:8-9
" ⁸He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
⁹ It will be said on that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation." (ESV)
Sometimes you need to just sit outside, stare at a tree, and remember that God created all of this.
It’s good for the soul.
this is a soft reminder to tell you that there will be better days ahead. keep pushing forward. no matter what you do, don’t give up just yet. you’re going to succeed. remind yourself that you can and you will. continue to motivate yourself just right before wanting to give up. you’ll get through this!
