i need a greenhouse or a conservatory...
plant propagation at barbican conservatory
the tinyest of tiny birds was taking a bath, shh, don’t disturb
kyoto gardens, holland park, london
i wanted to walk up to it and light it with a blue flame so badly...
botw feels at kyoto garden, holland park, london
kyoto garden, holland park
he was a crowd favourite, everyone stopped for a picture and he fit right in with the scenery - i honestly have no clue if he lives there or if i just got lucky :)
i know they’re a nuisance but they’re cute anyway
holland park, london
i recently spent a day in london and it’s been a while so it felt nice to go back.
it was just a slow day - grab breakfast at a small café/bakery, explore holland park and stumble around barbican conservatory and head back to my friends place to spend the evening with her.
Big storm raging over my roof and my inner paranoid self keeps asking ‚how long till it flys off‘
I just need to sleep and everything will be fine, the question is just how and if i get wet once the roof is gone...
Scenes from home
The sun filtering in theough the window, illuminating the greens in a happy tone
The sunrise bleeding over the hill vovering everything in pink hues
The little corner desk inviting work to be done
Gardens by the bay, the dome with succulents was fantastic!
Today is cold and grey and wet and somehow i miss the heat from singapore - even though i could barely cope in the beginning, going from 0 to 35 degrees wasn’t a walk in the park and heat is not something i usually enjoy but there it had a certain feeling about it that i did not mind too much?
Remembering a past trip is my way of coping with staying home. I love staying home but knowing you have to is different to wanting to stay home.
we spent a day exploring singapores attractions like gardens by the bay and sentosa - pictured here the cable car looking at sentose going over to mount faber
Evening walk through the town i grew up in - so much changed but stayed the same anyways...
Observatory on Mauna Kea, Hawaii (September 2016)
Getting ready for a trip I‘m very excited for but also rather anxious about.
Good stuff:
I’m excited for the destination
I managed to pack my stuff into my handluggage backpack (10 days, i feel super efficient!)
It‘s my first holiday in 8months and gosh do i need it!
Bad stuff: I don‘t know the language
There are so many things that could go wrong
My head is going wilde! I can‘t think of more points but at the moment I‘m more anxious than excited which kind of sucks so I‘m off to look at more photos to get me excited!
It‘s been a while... I haven‘t really felt like picking up a camera for the past about two years but this year i suddenly got the urge again. Of course i still took photos while travelling but i didn‘t organise or edit them which is a pity. I‘m now trying to do that again and maybe i‘ll pick up a camera more often again? My dslr is broken, well, still working but so broken it‘s more of a chore than a pleasure to take a photo, which is probably a huge reason why i stopped. My resolution is to take more photos and actually edit them so i can say it is reasonable to invest in a new camera. We‘ll see how far i get with that... This is Wexford, Ireland in May 2016
Call me prejudiced but this isn’t a place I’d want to be after sunset.. some alley in manchester that certainly looks untrustworthy...
I love those old industrial brick buildings. They are so majestic! Well, I love brick buildings in general and that industrial high ceiling big window thing has me totally hooked.. Manchester.
Cold March morning in Manchester, breakfast and something warm to drink: straight ahead.
The Mancunian Ferrys Wheel. It’s such a nice view from up there!
