When Theo gets mad at Adam for his weird insta stories.
Adam opened the door slowly as it was still early in the morning and he didn't want to wake up Theo just yet. He quietly took off his shoes and hang his coat on a hanger next to the door. Carefully, not to make any noise, he rushed on tip toes to his bedroom. He stoped his movements the second he noticed something in the living room. Something or, should I say, someone who wasn't supposed to be up at this time. Guitarist slowly turned around to face his friend.
'What are you doing this early? It's not even 7 am..' he asked coming closer to the sitting man.
'I just came back from a morning walk with Ronnie' his mate gave back coldly.
Ronnie! How could I forgot about my baby boy even for a second?!
He started looking around for his dog around the room surprised that said one didn't run to the door to welcome him few minutes earlier.
'He's in my bedroom' Theo said not even looking up from his nails. Pianist looked surprised at his friend. Singer is always locking their dog in a bedroom when he doesn't want him to disturb them while they're makeing new music. Or when they are fighting, which wasn't something they did often. To be honest, they had maybe three fights since they moved in together, which was five years ago. All of them about what to eat ANYWAY.. Theo didn't look like he wanted to jump on his roommate, telling him that he wrote some new songs and he wanted them to work on it right now. He looked more as he wanted to fight, but not about food this time.
'Something's wrong?' Adam asked, slowly approaching his best friend.
'No, why would be something wrong?' he gave back.
'Then stand up and welcome me properly' bearded man grinned and opened his arms for Theo to hug him.
'No, thanks. I'm good here' singer said crossing his legs and making himself even more comfortable in the armchair.
'Mhm' guitarist murmured cupping his friends cheeks and kissing his forehead like he always does. He couldn't remember the time when he greet the man another way. Since the day they first time they performed Evelyn as Hurts he greets his band mate like that.
Hutchcraft now visibly blushing put his hand on Adams chest and pushed him away murmuring something underneath his nose.
'What?' Anderson asked standing straight again.
'I said.. you should go and start packing for the last leg of tour.' he added this time louder.
'Tour starts in like twenty days.. I'll start packing next week.'
'18 days' whiskey-coloured eyed man stater quietly, more to himself than to his friend.
'Can you please start talking lauder? I have no idea what you just said.' pianist said a little bit irritated.
'I was talking to myself anyway.' Theo responded equally irritated standing from his armchair and walking toward their kitchen.
'Aren't you gonna ask me if I want the tea too?' Bleu-eyed man asked watching as his roommate started to prepare beverage for himself.
'Nah.. I think you can do that yourself' Singer said not even facing his mate.
'Okay. Will you tell me what is going on with you? Did Ronnie do something? Are you mad at him and you're just taking it off on me?' Adam asked worried that his precious puppy could do something to upset Theo this much.
'What?! No! Of course not! He's an angel. He did nothing wrong. Not like his father.' the last part musician said quietly, almost whispering, but loud enough for Adam to hear.
'Oh thank God! For a second I thought that he did something.' guitarist breathed a sigh of relief. Shortly after he realised what Theodore said at the end. 'What do you mean?' He sked confused
'"Not like his father"? What did I do to you to make you angry like that?'
'Nothing! Just.. nothing. Go and add something to your story on Instagram. Your fans are probably wondering why you're not posting since last night..' he said with clearly heard not only irritation but also sadness in his voice.
'Our fans.' bearded man said looking his band mate in the eyes. 'And you're mad at me because of what I'm adding on my Instagram?' Adam sked even more confused than before.
'Just.. go. Go have fun with Paul, Jamie, I don't know. They are surely more interesting than me.' Singer said quietly looking at his mug with only sadness in his voice. No irritation this time. Only sadness.
Adam looked at his best friend with wide opened eyes, not believing his own ears.
'So you're jealous?' pianist finally said chuckling. 'You are jealous that I'm not adding any insta stories with you?' blue-eyed man asked while slowly approaching his flatmate. Said one only took his now red from blushing face in his hands and turn a little bit to lean on a counter.
'Aww Theo!' guitarist awed and hugged his friend tightly, standing between singers legs.
'Bambi..' bearded man said softly, pulling away slightly and taking singers wrists in his palms to look at his face. 'You know you are my best friend, right?' Adam said pressing small kiss on a scar next to his roommate's right eye, hugging him again shortly after. This time brown-eyed man hugged him back. Resting his head on slightly shorter man's shoulder. Pianist laid his right hand on his friend's head and the left one was already on his back. After a few minutes Adam heard quiet 'I'm sorry' behind his ear. In response he kissed him on the neck, with the same move telling the younger man that everything is okay. Theo pulled away anyway and cupped older man's face who now hold his hips.
'I'm sorry, it's just.. during the tour you're always doing something with Paul or Chenai.. like the video when Paul fed you with some cake or whatever it was and then you were sitting on each other laps, like.. I-i don't know.. and now you were in Manchester and I was here, alone, and I missed you and you added this weird videos of you and Jamie and I went mad because I wasn't there.. because it wasn't me.' singer explained with sadness and embarrassment in his voice. 'It's never me.' He added way more quietly now.
'I-I'm sorry. I have never wanted you to feel this way..' Anderson said a little bit shocked. 'I never asked you to record any video with me because you always look at us weirdly when we're doing this on tour..'
'I'm looking at you weirdly because I'm jealous.' Theo responded helplessly. Guitarist pouted and again hugged the man in front of him. Now he was the one who murmured "I'm sorry" into the others neck. The words were followed by soft kisses that he was leaving on the younger man's neck, jawline and cheek. Said man's hands wandered from the others face to his neck where they hang behind it. The last kiss that Adam pressed to Theodore's skin was on his forehead, were he leaned his own afterwards, wanting to touch him with every part of his body. Taller man opened his eyes just for a second to check if the other had his eyes shut. When he noticed that his eyes indeed were, he closed his own too again. Pulling older man slightly closer by his neck. Said one didn't resist and without hesitation closed the distance between them. The only part of their body's that weren't touching yet were their lips. Only an inch away from each other. Both of them could feel the hot breath that was leaving others mouth.
They both groaned. The shorter man brushed his nose against the other one's and kiss it afterwards.
'There's somebody out the door' singer chuckled quietly. Adam took a step back and rolled his eyes rushing to the door.
'I'll make you tea' singer said sweetly to his mate whom just smiled at him.
'Package for mister Hutchcraft.' postman said smiling at him widely.
'Yeah.. I can take that.' blue-eyed man responded smiling back.
'Of course but first, can I ask you for your name?'
'Adam Hu-. Anderson. Adam Anderson. I'm Theo's roommate.' Pianist said blushing a little bit.
'Of course! A roommate. Here. Please singh here and that's it.' Postman replied with even bigger smile and gave him the pen.
'Okay.. thank you.' guitarist said taking quite big but surprisingly light package from the man.
'You are welcome. Have a nice day.' black haired man replied as he was turning to leaving.
'You too.' was the only thing that came out of his mouth before he closed the door.
'Bambiiiii' the older man called.
'Yeeeeees?' was all he heard before the other musicians turned around and saw what his friend was holding in his hands.
'YES!' He yelped happily running towards his mate.
'Go get your son' Theo demanded politely poking the man's, standing in front of him, arm.
'MY SON!' Adam shouted and hurried to the whiskey-colored eyed man bedroom. Younger man chuckled and started unboxing his order. After a second he could here all the sweet diminutives that the pianist could only think of for his beloved dog.
When he finally unpacked the new arrived item he sat on the floor and called for his boys.
'Guys! Come here. I need to show you something!' not long after he saw bearded man running on all fours and after him, their black puppy. Hutchcraft giggled and watch as his beloved ones were rolling around the carpet. After a few minutes when both boys had to stop running around to take a breath, Anderson looked at Theodore with the biggest smile on his face. He immediately sat next to him, close enough to touch his left thigh with his own.
'What did you want to show us?' blue-eyed man asked very excited. Ronnie, now sitting on his lap.
'This' taller man said pointing his finger at the brand new dog bed.
'NO WAY!' shorter man yelled surprised.
'He always wanted this one!' Adam cried happily as he stood up holding their pet in his arms and putting him in his new bed.
'Yeah.. I know' singer laugher at that comment.
'OH MY GOD! It's so beautiful! And so soft! I can't believe you actually bought this! You said you'll never sent 150£ on 'a fucking bed'!' bearded man said still amazed by the new item.
'Yeah, well.. someone needs to spoil our boy when you're not home.' Theo chuckled and crossed his arms.
'Go thank your daddy for a new bed, son!' Older man said looking at their dog. Said one immediately run towards the younger man and jumped on his legs licking his face.
'Okay, okay. It's enough. You're welcome.' taller man said taking his pet off his lap and patting him on his head. Adam admired this view for a moment and sat closer to his best friend, cupping his left cheek with his right palm.
'Thank you' he said after the taller one finally looked at him from their child. Brown-eyed man melted into the other touch and murmured 'it's nothing' looking again at their dog who was now laying in his new burgundy bed. After few seconds Anderson came even closer with a plan to kiss Hutchcraft on his left cheek. Said one turned his head towards pianist at the same time which led to their lips to touch. They both immediately pulled away and looked at each other in horror, braughsting in laugher only seconds after. When they finally calmed down and looked at each other, they felt like it was only the two of them on the world. Every next move was very slow and careful. As if both of them didn't know if the other wants the same. Still looking each others in the eyes, Theo found his way to Adams lap. Said one grabbed thinner man by his hips and placed him carefully on his legs. Singer cupped pianist's face and still looking him right in the eyes leaned his forehead on the other one's. After a moment, both of them closed their eyes at the same time, leaning closer and closer towards each other. After a minute, which felt like eternity, their lips met again. But this time, non of them even thought of pulling away.
At first, they shared gentle kisses but with time it got more rough and passionate. In the next moment Adam was laying on the carpet with Theo on top of him. The younger man's hands wandering on the body underneath him. Shorter man lowered the position of his hands from the others hips to his butt, squeezing it gently, making singer to moan. Using the occasion Anderson put his tongue into his mouth. Younger man gave in the new feeling. Letting the other man explore the never before touched by him part of his body. Hutchcraft started unbuttoning shorter man's shirt to feel his naked skin against his own. Older man let go of his body just to take singers shirt off. Quickly after doing the same with his own. In the second when their lips were about to meet again, they heard a bark. Brown-eyed man sat on his friend's hips, holding his hands on chest of the man underneath him. Ronnie was still running around them barking from time to time begging for attention.
'What?' he asked when the dog calmed down and sat next to them. The question was followed by quiet chuckled that came out from Adam's body.
'You have to get used to it. You're not the only one who can lick this pretty face anymore.' Theo added point on the lying man's face, still looking at their beloved pet. Anderson laughed again, only louder than before and sat up to kiss his man again. Which caused Ronnie to turn into barking mess once again.
'It's fine.' bearded man said into his roommate's mouth while petting their son with his left hand. 'We still love you' he added not even looking at the black cockapoo.
