- @detectivesuikaaa
omg hi suika! Let me see… maybe some irises? (courage, wisdom, hope, admiration)
Sorry for the short answer, the shop has been quite busy lately.
You are always welcome!!! Thank you, Suika!!
Intro post timeee!!
My name is Cal, short for Calochortus (a type of lily… idk ask Nate)
I’m formerly from treasure island, there I have a sister named Amaryllis. I left to pursue an education in plants, once I realized how helpful they could be.
I’m currently working alongside @dalhousieflorals to help maintain his shop in corn city.
Im always looking out for the world around us to make sure it stays as plentiful as can be for future generations.

hihihi it’s @punktapewrm here again with another oc blog! My other rp blogs in this universe are @whimsyclockwork (Joel Gear) and @dalhousieflorals (my oc, Nathan Dalhousie, and Cal’s significant other)
Ask me stuff, I don’t mind!
On a hike through the woods I found this flower. 🌸
It reminded me of @stone-coldnews 🪷
//OOC: I actually took this pic!
Wow, gorgeous. Such a beautiful photo, Miss Momiji! This flower pictured is a rhododendron, specifically the ‘arctic glow’ hybrid. The rhododendron is a flower that means caution, or danger, but it could also mean passion! Did you know that they are the national flower of Nepal?
These flowers can also grow up to three feet in just ten years!
Hmmm, I didn't know that. 🌸
Thank for the information, it's much appreciated. 🪷
Your quite knowledgeable on flowers, it seems. What's your name? 🌸
I’m Nate! I am a florist/florigrapher from corn city, I gave you some flowers before too, if you remember. I hope you have a good day!
Special delivery! *Vesper arrives with a big cart drawn by a donkey* *in the cart are a giant pile of flowers, some dried, some fresh, and some in vases of water and even some potted. They include lavender, orange blossoms, poppies, snapdragons, spicebushes, carnations, plenty of American black nightshade, sage blossoms, monkeyflowers, lupines, California wild rose, pretty much a little bit of almost everything one can find on a long hiking trip except for oleanders and anything yarrow or carrot-like because Vesper doesn’t mess we anything that looks like poison hemlock and doesn’t mess with oleander. Most of the flower bunches are labeled.*
@vesper-the-cunning-cryptid
. . . oh my effing gosh you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Anything you need, I’m right here. @possibly-a-satyr too. Let him do all the manual labour though.

“I need a bouquet that is a declaration of war, passion, desire, and danger. It’s a bouquet for declaring a mentalist war.”
@vesper-the-cunning-cryptid
First I’d start this off with a most obvious choice, the tansy, meaning declaration of war and hostile thoughts.
Next, we add some spider lilies. Pink and red, a most intriguing combination. Pink means passion, red means death. Feel free to remove the red ones if you wish.
We’ll add in some marigolds, meaning cruelty, and some jonquil, meaning desire.
Lastly we’d add some begonia (beware), and some rhododendrons (danger, warning).
You are welcome anytime!
@eallyrayadbay are you seeing this??
“Sounds excellent. In addition, I think there should be flowers that say excitement and competition. The bouquet should also be layered with deep red tulips and carnations hidden, and whatever you have that says a deep understanding.”
Alright so, if I have this right I need orange tulips (excitement), pink carnations (achievement, success) among other varieties, deep red tulips, and some blue hydrangeas (understanding).
Ok, i think i got it.
There’s some rarer blooms in there, yknow?
Rarer blooms = larger price.
Your total comes to 200,000 drago.
If you can’t pay that, I’m always in need of some helping hands around here.
I don’t get paid enough for this.
See you around!
I honestly don’t know the value of your currency so I’ll just be on my way and get you everything you might want. Orange blossoms, lavender, sunflowers, geraniums, snapdragon, manzanita, eucalyptus, whatever fancies you.
yes yes yes yes 🙌

What flowers could mean “I understand you, you understand me. We are like twins.”?
I’m going to have to say blue hydrangeas (understanding, peace), blue irises (trust, devotion) and yellow plumeria (friendship).
Please come by again!
What would black tulips mean?
Although they don’t actually exist in nature, with the help of breeding flowers together, they would mean elegance, nobility, or mystery.
Thanks for the inquiry!
greetings, I brought you some chamomile and sage!
- @dalhousieflorals
Why thank you, Nathan. You didn't have to, but I appreciate it greatly. Come sit down. Let's drink our tea together for a while, I need a break.
hey miss momiji, I heard what happened. I brought you some flowers to help you feel better. There’s a bit of everything. Some lilies, some white roses, and even some chrysanthemums. I hope you are faring well.
- @dalhousieflorals
Oh thank you. (*whips a tear from her eye*)
I'm assuming you mean what happened to Hyoga kun? 🌸
I appreciate the flowers, I'll put them in a vase. 🪷
in general, what's your favourite flower?
Ooh this is a tough one.
I've always thought silphium was incredibly fascinating for all of the medicinal and symbolical purposes in the Roman era. Visually though, I'm gonna half to say palicourea elata. That stuffs sick.
What flower means “I am interested in you, but I am not sure if you are interested in me” can be platonic or romantic. How about one that means “I am obsessed with you”?
The best option for the first question would be a bouquet consisting of red tulips (declaration of love), a couple of gardenias (desire), and finally top it off with some acacia flowers (concealed love). You could even stuff the barer parts of the bouquet with rosebud masses (confessions of love)
Although I have yet to learn of a flower that specifically asks for a response, there are plenty.
Jonquil - returned affection
Ambrosia - reciprocated love
Striped carnation - I can’t be with you
Yellow carnation - rejection, disappointment
Solid colour carnation: yes!
As for your second question, some flowers that may fit that category are: pink camellia (longing for you), primrose (I can’t live without you), and red carnation (my heart aches for you).
I hope I helped, please come by again soon!
