Just 100%'d the Star-Crossed World DLC. It was so nice to have an excuse to go back to Forgotten Land again. It was really fun, but I wish it was a bit longer.

I am a very sporadic player of Pokémon Go. Like, I'll play for a few weeks quite intensively, then not play for literal years.

This behaviour has left me with an interesting glitch - I've got an old research task that is so old it is broken and trying to activate it crashes the game and forces me to reopen it. I can use it to my advantage, though. It's super easy way of earning 'battle with' hearts with my buddy Pokémon. 🤣

A friend of mine tells me I should get onto Niantic support to get it fixed.

AZ created a weapon of mass destruction that he used to indiscriminantly destroy both sides to end the war.

This weapon was powered by the life energy of an unspecified (but large) quantity of Pokémon.

As shown by the menhirs on Route 10. These were used to collect said life force of those Pokémon, acting as both batteries for the Ultimate Weapon and then to stand as their graves afterwards.

Lysandre too wanted to use the energy of Pokémon to fuel the Ultimate Weapon, but he explicity uses the power of Xerneas/Yveltal (depending on your game version) instead of killing a whole bunch of other Pokémon for theirs.

[EDIT: @vee-chill-zone pointed out that Lysandre also used lives of other Pokémon. My bad; I missed the line from Tierno clarifying this at the time and always assumed that with Xerneas/Yveltal this wasn't necessary. Having now played Z-A it does make this a lot clearer.]

I'm not shaming anyone for liking AZ; hell knows I'm also an apologist for terrible people - I'm a Lysandre stan for Arceus' sake 🤣- but I make no bones about the terrible things he did. The same goes for AZ. He did terrible things, and putting him in a nice suit and plaiting his hair all nice and having him open a nice hotel will not make me forget that he did a genocide. 🤣

Went to Hyper Japan yesterday in my Kuromi-inspired lolita coord with my bestie @runeandmoon as My Melody. It was my first time wearing lolita and I really enjoyed it, though by the end of the day my feet really, really hurt. Those shoes are super pretty but SO uncomfortable! 😅 So many people complimented us on our outfits and we couldn't move for people wanting to take our photo. Lots of little girls were so inspired by us, it was so cute! It was so flattering! We got to meet a My Melody costumed mascot but Kuromi sadly couldn't make it, which made me very sad. I still had an absolute blast though and can't wait till wear this outfit again!
