nicholasgrimshaw On Annie Mac’s last week on radio one I just wanted to say that ANNIE MAC FUCKING RULES. Seriously. I know you know but I love Annie, I’ve had the best time alongside her at radio1 and I’m so happy that we got to spend all this time together under the guise of “work”. She is THE radio role model, impassioned & inspired with impeccable taste and I want to scream it from the rooftops! Annie has been so important in my life and I am forever in awe of this woman who I first met at Glastonbury 2005 (see picture 2 of our actual first meeting) and have continued to be inspired by her ever since. A constant supporter and loyal friend who I will continue to love forever more. I said my first words on bbcradio1 with Annie and tonight I join her in her penultimate show to celebrate all the good times ✨
