summary | at first, all he wanted was to help a stranger. but once he looked at you, the situation called for a change of plans.

Even though drinking was not his thing, Damien could still enjoy a good time at a chill nightclub as long as he was surrounded by some of his favorite people. The loud music and the dimmed lights would be too much at times, but once he heard Shayne’s hysterical laughter next to him, his muscles would relax and his body would instantly start shaking with his own laughter instead.

But even with Shayne acting as some of his most insane characters and with Courtney making fun of him, Damien found it difficult to focus on the conversation at hand for more than five minutes straight. His eyes would eventually end up on the other side of the room, right where you were sitting comfortably at the bar. He wasn’t sure at what exact moment did he notice your presence, but what he did know was that the guys sitting in the booth next to theirs were being too loud about that pretty girl at the bar. And maybe it was the alcohol running through their veins, but the comments he heard coming from those boys behind him were not the ones he would use to refer to a lady. It was probably that what made it impossible for him to stop looking at you, making sure no creep came near you.

Hi, here’s the first part of my prince Damien fic. I don’t know exactly how many parts it will have because my plot is already planned, but I always have a couple of ideas who’s pop up. Disclaim: English is my second language and I stop writing for a long time, so, it happens that my grammar or words weren’t exact. I use of all the tools in my possession, but some mistakes can still happen.

The day the loved and cherished Queen of Ainsel give birth to her first child, a little boy, was one of those perfect days. You know, those mornings when the sky was so blue that even the cloud in contrast seem whiter. When the air, warmed by the bright sun, is so pure that it let you think that nothing today could go wrong.

The baby, prince Damien Haas, first in the succession list for the throne, but for now only a newly human. Take is truly first breath of air. At the same time, a golden sunbeam entering the room, giving to the scene a mystical aura who make talk the population for many years after the event.

In fact, another unusual thing happen that day, making almost secretly grow the legend. But, that part, on the contrary of the sunbeam situation, was only known by a small group of people.

It happened when the little prince, sleepy by the miraculous event of his own birth, embrace the warm and comforting breast of his mother. While his little eyes slowly close, the queen, in joy, tell for the first time his name, wishing him a good sleep.

If you listen to these people who’s swear being in the holy secret. They will tell you that. At that moment, the little hair of the baby start to glow blue for a few seconds before coming back to normal. The king and the queen, after sharing a glance, decided it was a sign of the gods. And nobody tell them wrong.

Standing in front of his rivals, his arms lock on a defensive posture, his short sword heavy in his hands. The prince Damien was watching every move of his opponents. Around him, blowing into the trees, the wind was murmuring rumors about a late autumn.

If there was one thing anyone knew about Damien Haas it was that he was so wholeheartedly a gentle giant.

He was always the one to notice the underdog, to spot the bad day someone was having, to offer that needed helping hand. He was a tall boy with a soft heart, and no one doubted it for a second.

“Hey, (Y/N),” Damien walked into the SG office, leaning over her chair to give her a quick one-armed hug. “Got you a cheese Danish.”

“Starbucks?” she grinned, momentarily resting her head against his arm. “How do you always know when I need a little something?”
