The end of their performance in A Hard Day’s Night sums them up so well:  that formal in-unison bow, followed by each of them responding individually–Paul soaking up the love of the crowd, George looking like he’s thinking of making a break for it, and John breaking into a silly jig. (And Ringo, it looks like, quietly starting to pack up his kit in the back).
