Shared this like two days ago, and today I got hire🤩🤩
I don't usually post stuff like this, but I'm CLAIMING IT honey 🧿🦋✨
These tweets sum up my gratefulness perfectly!
As a speech therapist/educator, I’m always trying to find simple techniques/explanations to help little kids process and understand their emotions and then teach them healthy ways to express themselves when they’re angry, frustrated, etc. I notice that telling them I deal with the same difficulties, like wanting to yell when I’m angry, goes a long way. Then they know what they feel isn’t weird BUT there are ways to handle their emotions that don’t hurt themselves or others.

Today, January 27, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Please take time to remember and reflect on all the different people murdered in the Holocaust, and those who survived its horrors. Jewish people, Roma people, LGBTQ people, the disabled, political prisoners, and many more groups.
They deserve to be remembered. They need to be.
2020 marks the 75th year since the liberation of Auschwitz. The number of Holocaust survivors decreases each year.
We must study and learn about the Holocaust. We must listen to the testimonies of those who survived.
We owe them that much.
2021, 76 years.
And more then ever we not only have to look at the Holocaust itself, but on how it started. Today in German Bundestag at the official Remembrance event one speaker, a young Jewish woman, stressed that the Holocaust didn’t start with the killings, but with the spread of conspiracy theories. And she is right, you cannot understand the actual without looking at these beginnings, at how a democracy died, how people slowly accepted the discriminations of their neighbours and how it escalated from there.
