The central plaza in Sundari on Mandalore features two murals, one at the foot of the royal platform and one below the speaking balcony high above this platform. The mural on the platform depicts a battle between ancient Mandalorian warriors and Jedi Knights, and the mural under the balcony likewise depicts the Mandalorian crusaders at war against Jedi. Pre Vizsla’s residence on Concordia has a similar mural, also of a Mandalorian crusader battling foes, a fallen Jedi among them. The murals are in a Cubist style reminiscent of Pablo Picasso’s Guernica. [fn]

Anakin manages the family finances. Padme grew up well off and while being a Queen/Senator, got use to not looking at price tags. Obi-Wan rarely needed money because the order either provided what was needed or the mission discretionary fund. Anakin was a slave whose mother had to stretch out their resources. He can barter better than anyone and has good investment instincts.

#I love it when anakin is the reasonable one who Actually Knows What He’s Doing #padme is probably not bad at budgeting but she has expensive taste and she refuses to skimp out on her favorite luxuries #obi-wan just doesn’t know how to money #he thinks everything is too expensive #Star Wars

Star Wars Anakin has his strong points and in those he’s like INCREDIBLY COMPETENT but in everything else … not so much but yeah of the three of them he’d probably be the most competent at finance (in regards to making a tiny amount of money last the longest) (when it comes to like managing a country’s finance probably go to Padme) (so in like an AU where the empire rises + the jedi fall but the three of them don’t (Anakin is the one responsible with keeping their on-the-run asses not starved (because he’s also the only one willing to underhandedly obtain money (he’s not gonna’ let his family starve (or be forced to do things there not comfortable with to get money (as long as he’s only taking money off not great people (he’s cool with using underhanded means (so he will to keep his family safe )
