STOP saying Moiraine is Rand's mother. That woman hasn't got a single nurturing, maternal bone in her body, and I like her that way. Moiraine is Rand's absentee legal guardian who was reluctantly forced to take custody due to the will.

From the look on Moiraine's face, it's difficult for the Novice to NOT notice the fact she is being loud and noisy to the blue ajah. Moiraine remains silent, oceanic eyes moving the jar she's holding before her and the blonde. Twice she did it.

The young woman looked sympathetic to her, but it was just one of those days for Moiraine - all her days let's face it. It's not difficult and yet, Elayne stands still before her. Moiraine sighs very lightly, puts the book she was studying down, big and thin fingers flat before her. She looked back at her, no smile, just a tilt of her head.

"Fix it then."

"You have no idea..." she sighed, even drawing a little smile with her dry scoff, "...literally no idea... " the aes sedai shook her head in disbelief, "... how important you are." No he couldn't know how she had spent her entire life almost, decades, lookiing for him, the Dragon Reborn. Perhaps it didn't mean anything to him, but for her, for Lan even, it was a lifetime dedicated to someone they didn't even know. She had not foreseen his birth, but Gitara did. And since this very moment, nothing had never been the same.

Moiraine stared back at him, the hint of her smile already gone far away, and she wondered how far she could go on with him. He was stubborn, she was as much if not more. They didn't like each other very much, despite her all honesty - it was in the oath anyway. Yet, the blue ajah didn't think he truly trusted her back fully. What was she without him in the end ? Better not think about it. "Tell me something you're missing right now. There's no wrong answer at least."

a BLINK. An awfully beautiful sensation ran through her veins, until she realized it wasn't underneath her skin. Oh no ! It was ruffling her body, easying her muscles and realxing her nerves all at once. It didn't take more than one blink, for Moiraine to keep her eyes wide opened.

The aes sedai was plunged in a warm bath, but the feeling she got was accompanied by the familiar, yet bittersweet sensation of something going dreadfully wrong. The woman before her grinned wickedly back at her - Moiraine couldn't help but think of Lanfear as beautiful. She knew she had that aura that compelled ordinary human beings to follow after her demands without much thinking. However, Moiraine was far from being ordinary.

She remained quiet for a long time, before figuring it out. A dream. Her dream, and the forsaken had taken possession of it. Both women naked, some bareness brushing out of the water, Moiraine felt vulnerable. "I did not imagine an encounter of that sort with you." She scoffed, "Are you going to cook me in there?"

It's been quite a while since Moiraine had made an appearance around the camp. Going on a mission on her own, fading away when Sarah had not allowed it... well she expected repercussions, since she had been told she died on the battle field. but did she care really ? No. Mission was a success. That was all that mattered.

After one single knock on her office door, she strode in, her eyes meeting Sarah's back and braid, as she was looking through her window. She figured she had seen her arrive, so she waited for her. "General," she began, raising her head high, "You asked for me."

The night was cold, humid and lonely. Two years in the tower, two years that she was making her way through her friend's door every now and then. She barely knocked on Siuan's door, slipping inside to find her friend in her bed. Moiraine removed her scarf from her head that hid her identity and grinned. "I knew you weren't sleeping," she said without waiting for an answer and sat on the edge of the bed, curious eyes landing on the book resting on her nightstand. The candle was consumed, meanign she's been here for a bit of time. "You finished your chores before me, right?" she sighed and laid on the other hand of her hard and tiny bed. "I'm exhausted. We need to be Accepted soon Siuan, I cannot for the live of me doing it for another two years..."

me attempting to send memes to people & be like... no, mo' wouldn't say that. she doesn't have enough empathy, also she does, but she's just not going to show she cares that much. boundaries. which is very funny considering she shared her unique thoughts with someone else for such a long time. he never judged her. he always understood her until... cries in a corner

i cannot stress enough the fact that I’m canon divergent from books & will probably be canon divergent from the show too. (since the show is far from being over & there are many changes - some i love & make more sense, some i don’t really care) 

which means i’m taking the BEST from both worlds for Mo’s portrayal. also headcanons will be added from my own hand, because that’s the most fun part, & if anyone wanna be part of headcanons & share together for our characters, that would be even better content.

I like reading The Wheel of Time books after seeing the show because show Moiraine's vibes are tired babysitter that still cares for the kids she's kidnapped while book Moiraine is like two bad days away from abandoning Rand in the desert and letting the world end so she doesn't have to put up with his shit any longer.
