Yeah favours were def used for Regan’s win. Elsie’s solo was AMAZING. Hands down winner in my eyes

idk about favors. i think it’s really bc her improv was so good, and she has a name. not trying to take it away from her bc that’s life was incredible. it’s just hard to go up against big dancers names sometimes

thinking regans name was the reason for her win is kind of crazy considering she had never placed amazingly at any comp. i really think it came down to her improv as well tbh, she also probably does really well in auditions which got her top 10 to begin with

ALSO we’re talking about the exact same competition judges who also made the decision to rank Gracyn as #3, which was a huge surprise (well for me at least), and that’s just based on dance training and technique. Add in Gracyn’s “name” to that….

Under that theory, how on earth did Gracyn not also win TDA Teen Female Best Dancer 2024?

This is completely ridiculous post. Regan won fairly and it’s not okay for anyone to try to take her win from her and act like she only won because strings were pulled for her. We all know that’s not true. Molly had no idea she was going to win. Go listen on the podcast. Regan won because the judges choose her to win bottom line. It takes auditions, solos and improve to get the win. Not one of you watched her audition. Her improved slayed and her solo was great. It also stood out because it was different then the other three.
