“You definitely rushed into that class before I could say anything. I had things to say, kisses to give as well.” He chuckled. Cory copied the problem onto the sheet of paper. But the moment it came to actually working it out. He froze. I don’t even know where to start.
“Kisses?” That caught him off guard. But he just blushed more behind his hood. Seeing him stuck, Cameron look at the problem. “Okay start with this.” Taking him through the steps.

‘i know. i don’t understand, but i do respect your wishes.’ mateo said softly, carding his fingers through the others hair. ‘how’s school going? anything interesting happen, lately?’
Leaning into his touch, he smiled softly. “Its fine, just been doing my school work I have to do and fooling around in most other classes. What about you? I do have a competition coming up.”
“i didn’t hit her in the face on purpose, i don’t know who started that rumour - but it was an accident. i mean, i know i’m competitive but i’m not a monster!” she said, even though she’s not even sure if she believed herself at this point. “i’m just passionate at volleyball.”
“Sounds like you were just in the zone to me.” Cameron responded softly to her.

“Of course you are.” He said, shaking his head a slight disbelief. This guy was clearly a genius or something. Cory nodded his head repeatedly as Cameron shook his own. The redhead understood it had to do with his shy nature, but he didn’t think Cameron had to hide. Especially not in here where it was just the two of them. “Fine, but if you give me another kiss, don’t run away this time.” He huffed. Cory took the notebook and showed Cameron the assignment from the textbook PDF on his phone.
“I didn’t run away....I just went into my class.” Cameron rebutted to him. He watched as pulled the assignment up. “Okay start with the first problem and I’ll help you after that.” Still fixing the hood to stay on his head. Cameron sat back, watching as he work through the problem.

“Cool. What math are you taking?” He was afraid to ask, as Cameron looked smart. He chuckled at the other’s reaction. “Let’s take that hood off, so I can see you again.” Cory voiced stepping into the private room. “Ah, this is the private room. Nice.” He didn’t even have his school things, but he could pull some of it up on his phone. “Do you have paper?”
“I finished my required ones so I’m taking Calculus for fun.” Sucking his lip. They were alone in the room now, looking around. As Cory talked about removing his hood, he shook his head. It was a comfort, a place to hide from those around him and to hide his blush that was still on his cheeks and down his neck. “Yeah, I do.” Pulling out a notrbook from his bag and handing it to Cory to use.

“Oh, nice.” He noticed the hood come back up again, realizing it was probably the boy’s habit to put it over his head. “Okay, how about the homework for math? I’m taking Algebra 2.” He offered before he listened to the boy talk. “Relax. I’m not bothered. It just surprised me, but I’m glad you found a way to say thank you that works for you. Some people really don’t like their personal space invaded like, you know. I’m not one of them, but you should probably remember that.”
“I can help with that, sure.” Nodding. “I know they don’t just...nevermind. Lets focus on homework.” He was stumbling over words again and just didn’t want to keep doing it so he headed them back into the private room with a table to do his math work.

“Oh, wow. That’s pretty impressive. What would you call what you were doing just a moment ago?” He asked, as he didn’t know the types of dances. He wouldn’t even know what ballet looked like. “That was the original plan, but then it wasn’t. Still, I wasn’t just gonna bail on the plans. Sorry. You still wanna hang out?” He tried to think of something they could do. “You never heard of a hug, a handshake, hey, even saying ‘thank you’?” He gave a questioning look.
“It was a mix of both.” Cameron replied, rubbing the back of his own neck. “We don’t have to, I just wanted to help.” When he pointed out other things that he could have done, Cameron sucked on his lip and looked away from him. “I’m...okay, on paper or on the dance floor, I can express things I need to say but talking, I’m awkward and I’m clumsy and shy, so I guess to me it just seemed easier and I’m sorry if it bothered you.” Not looking up to Cory as he finished speaking.

“How long have you been doing it?” He asked, curious. “Don’t worry about it. I don’t think I’ll ever be as good you, anyway.” He chuckled. “I mean, I finished the other assignments. The essay… i’ll finish this weekend. I guess I should’ve for you, but I got struck with inspiration.” He explained, before chuckling at the red. He pulled the other into a private hallway. “Yeah… What was that about, huh?” He asked.
“Since I was 4, started in ballet then just kept learning all types. But I prefer hip hop and contemporary mostly.” Cameron shrugged, then his brow fully furrowed. “I thought you were coming here for help...inspiration? Well thats easy, think of...ahh.” he yelped as he was pulled into the hallway with him. “Just a thank you, nothing more. Why?” Though deep down there might be more to it as he flipped the hood up on his hoodie again.

Cory chuckled. “You’re very good.” He complimented again. “Because unlike you, my blushing friend, I’m not a confident dancer. Plus, we need to talk about that kiss from earlier.” He smirked, raising a bushy brow. “I haven’t forgotten.”
“Thanks, I’ve been doing it long enough I’d hope I was that good.” Blushing still, he shook his head some. “How about I teach you to dance another time, right now its suppose to be studying for class and your essay.” Licking over his lips, his cheek were now red as a tomato. “Oh...that.”

‘i guess, sure. i never gave much of a damn if it mattered or not.’
“Well to me it does,” Cameron shrugged, still laying over the other boy. He sighed softly, just waiting for them to finish this conversation as he pressed kisses along Mateo’s jaw then.

“Oh, don’t worry about that. I already did the homework.” Not the essay, but that could wait. “I came because I wanted to see your dance. You’re pretty sexy up there. I wouldn’t mind some lessons in that.” He chuckled. “Is there a more private room?”
“Then why did you come?” Asking with a puzzled look on his face. Once he got the answer, the flush to his cheeks came once more. “I mean, I could try and teach you some and thank you, I mean I’m not trying to, just dancing but thank you.” Shaking his head, he looked around some. “Why does it need to be more private?”

Cory had arrived earlier than he had arranged with Cameron, but he didn’t make his presence known until it was nearing the end of the rehearsal. He’d snuck in wanting to be unnoticed, but now he was sitting where other people were. He assumed these people were also dancers. He grinned as he caught the winked and clapped for Cameron once he was done. “Nice.”
Finishing his dance, Cameron grabbed his towel wiping his brow. “Thanks, I do my best and I love it.” Smiling, he set the towel down. “Ready to study then?” Pulling his sweatshirt over, he grabbed his bag and waved to everyone else. “There is a room off to the side we can use.”

“I’ll be there.” He nodded, letting out another soft chuckle as he noticed the never-ending blush. The cheek kiss caught him by surprise. A pleasant surprise, and he blinked as the boy leaned back from it. Perhaps this shy kid was a lot more interesting than Cory thought. The redhead was not going to forget this, any time soon. A wide grin spread over his features even after the boy was gone.

It was 6:45 and Cameron was lost in the music. He didn’t notice that Cory had walked in. He was dancing his heart out, the only way he knew how to dance. He knew there were eyes on him, it was just the way he danced. It was the one place you’d never see him blush as he smiled to those watching. Seeing Cory there, he winked then took of the next steps to finish the dance.
corywolfe:
“You kinda do, until you start bumping into people.” He pointed out with a chuckle. “He’s your book back. I guess i’ll see you after your dance rehearsal?”
Taking the book back, he blushed again. “Yeah, see you then. 7 o clock at the studio.” With those words, he leaned up and kissed Cory’s cheek. Turning he quickly walked into the room, not sure how the jock would react to the kiss on the cheek, he could only hope it wouldn’t make things awkward later.

He couldn’t help but chuckle, he wanted to tease the other about his blush again but thought that wouldn’t be nice at this point. “What exactly do you mean by ‘this’? People looking at you and wanting to see your face?”
“yeah, well..no, I mean I’m use to people looking at me when I dance but in the halls, I just blend I guess.” Shrugging and stopping once they reached the room they were looking for, he stopped to face Cory.

He let out a small chuckle. “I think you are. Why are you embarrassed?” Cameron was shy, that much was clear from the start. Cory didn’t mean to make him feel uncomfortable, but he was just teasing. “Yeah… and, you know, make eye contact for more than a second at a time. “No, it’s just gym class. We already had practice this morning.” He explained.
His hood falling off, he actually looked at Cory, licking over his lips. Still his cheeks were pink but the boy wanted to see him, so he felt it was right to let him see him. “I’m just not use to this is all. I mean, when I dance, I’m use to it but not walking through the halls.” This time, trying to look at him more.
