Finally getting around to posting these. 😅

I made prediction lists for Press Play too but never got around to sharing them. Looking back, I was around 7.5–8/10 on most of my predictions, so I figured I’d go ahead and post my early thoughts for TDA Orlando.

A few disclaimers:

• These are just for fun based on results, consistency, and what I’ve seen this season.

• They will almost certainly change once I catch up on solos from Nationals.

• This year is ridiculously deep in every division.

Mini: I feel like there’s a really strong top four. After that, I think a lot comes down to who delivers this week, so I split the rest into tiers rather than exact placements.

Press Play is already a joke. It’s been a week and a half and still have not received my daughter’s feedback, judging critiques, or score. I’m almost certain they lost all of them entirely and then scrambled to picking the overall results order based on names. Why else would we still not have our scores!

This is how crazy rumors get started. Someone is going to see that original post and run with it and start telling everyone that “this is why my dancer wasn’t in the top 10.” Let’s calm down people. It was week one and it was a massive competition. If you expected perfection, your expectations were too high. There are always going to be some hurdles and stumbling blocks at the beginning. They’ll get it figured out. Let’s all keep our cool. It was a successful weekend with a few minor issues. And if you didn’t love it, just don’t go back. They are sold out in pretty much every city. I doubt they’ll miss you.

Whoever said that to p21jazzqueens was definitely rude, but let’s be real she is obsessed with molly. I don’t even know how old she is, but if she’s got this much time to fixate on kids dancing at a studio that doesn’t even acknowledge her, maybe it’s time to rethink her priorities. School, work, literally anything else would be a better use of her energy. Instead, she’s out here stressing out parents and kids who just want to dance without drama. That’s not normal, and it’s not fair to them. If she feels the need to rant, go write a blog about Charlie Kirk or politics or whatever leave children out of her weird obsession.

We are on tumblr on a Friday night talking about dance. It’s pretty clear we are all losers here.

You have been tricked as many have. Navy and Lola’s mom is the worst of the worst. So extremely fake nice but extremely manipulative and hurtful. Many parents have demanded she be dropped by Club and some have actually left because they keep her on to teach. But I heard Club’s owner is too worried to fire her because if she doesn’t teach at Club she will open her own studio down the road and use her parents’ money to make it or go to dc2 that is a big competition to them just to spite club. That mom even sits in the office during group routines and if her kids aren’t in the center for long enough she takes the choreographer’s break to make sure it will be changed. She also sits there watching other kids privates and talking about them. Who does this? And these are kids she is suppose to teach and help and like. One of her kids is also always always crying and so scared at the conventions and competitions because she doesn’t want to be there and is so scared to mess up. Someone said she even had to see a therapist. But the mom still makes her dance. Plus, she hosts all these sleepovers with only the select kids she wants her kids to be friends with or kids that aren’t a threat to her kids. It leaves a lot of kids out and she knows it, even some of us who live close and have known her for so long. I don’t write this for you to post and share but you should know. No way you should be praising that mom.

But I am going to post and share… if it’s true, it should be known.. if it’s false, others will come to her defense.
