hero tenko aus make me giggle a bit because why do we assume tenko (aka woke-mura) would actually choose to become a government official. we are talking about the kid who would play with the most isolated and outcasted children. the guy who loathes inequality in the most literal sense there is. making him a pro-hero implies that he had to actually try really hard to be accepted by the corrupted government. that he willingly participates in the system he would normally be against.

that's not hero au, that's right wing academia.

I love the idea of emo-band League of Villains but Tomura would NOT be the lead singer in my opinion. He would deem it *cringe* and *something that requires no skill* and he most definitely DOES HAVE skill. He would have the craziest instrument solos for every song, sure, but he is not singing, you can't make him. Singing is for people who don't want to put in any effort. Like Touya. (Lovingly, of course)

heavy cope hours but i like to think that while yes tomura struggles to read social cues because he’s been isolated and also because he honestly just doesn’t gaf about meaningless rules, he would give a lot of effort at attempting to read you. i think unconsciously (early tomura) is hyper aware of the feeling of being forgotten or looked over (for tomura with regained memories this is a conscious awareness and effort). so if you’re talking with the league and someone speaks over you and everyone moves their attention to that person, tomura is the one who’s silently nodding at you to continue. if you feel like everything around you is stifling and you go somewhere private, tomura is giving you ten minutes to calm down before sending a simple text. he values privacy and freedom but he needs to let you know in a kind of irrational way that he still remembers you’re there, even if you need space.

he knows what it’s like to be ignored and forgotten and imagining you experiencing that rage and misery as a product of it that he feels daily fills every part of him with dread. but he doesn’t have the emotional skills to identify this so he thinks it’s just the hatred weighing down on his heart

tomura is already The Character Of All Time to me but if he was a woman i genuinely wouldn’t stand a chance it’d be so fucking over for me like i would be getting into physical fights over her i would spend entire days having heated arguments with ppl on twitter over her i would kick down horikoshi’s door myself and beat his ass for what he did to her i would simply have to reshape reality to make her real and offer my life to her and if i get decayed in the process well then so be it

i dont feel real most of the time so seeing a character that has gone through near identical things to me and thinks and operates like i do is uncanny. sometimes it gives me the courage to try and make an attempt at being human but it usually falls flat. im convinced everyone else can sense my wrongness. i think tomura must have felt subhuman too.
