Thomas still took some time to get used to his surroundings, even though he was pretty sure he knew most of what was around here. As he walked, he spotted the familiar actions of his daughter, and paused to watch as she bashed the shoes against the wall. He could still remember when she started doing that the first time and he almost had a panic attack, until his wife explained it to him. However, when her question came up, he smiled and moved towards her. “I believe I have some in here.” He looked down in his tool bag, searching a bit until he found some down towards the bottom. “They’re not the fabric scissors you usually use, but they should work, yeah?”
She continued to look in her bag hoping to find her other scissors but to no avail. However it was the voice of her dad that surprised. “Dad!” She grinned before reaching out and taking the tool. “it’s for the bottom of my shoes. I let amelia use my scorer thing and she didn’t give back.” It felt strange that someone would take a pair of new shoes and wreck them but dancing just wouldn’t feel right without it. Most of her performance shoes lasted only one time, while her practice shoes got on a little longer. She was just grateful the school provided the shoes and she would kiss the sponsor right on the lips to thank them for doing what they did. Deirdre scrapped her shoes before handing the scissors back to her dad. “Whatcha up too?
